Domino's are a total RIP off, just as good at Asda add your own ingredients
Anyone make their own? It's not hard to make something a lot better than the places mentioned in the OP (not a particular high bar obviously)

Aldi ones even better....Hot & spicy chicken - costs next to nothing top notch..just add a touch more cheese
Takeaway pizzas are the worst value thing ever....dreadful items
Can't stand any of the fast food pizza chains. the pizza is generally cooked on those conveyor belts and the crust is awful.
Smaller, local operations that have an oven for the pizza are much better. Nice crispy chewy crust.
Just glorified cheese on toast, a marketing triumph.

yes....thats how a good pizza crust is meant to be.
I suppose you find pizza quite nice Sizzle must make a refreshing change from a mouthful of helmet.
Actually "chewy" for lack of a better word is something you want from a good base. It's hard to explain though if you're used to low quality pizzas like the ones mentioned in the OP

I had an amazing Napolitan pizza when I was on a group day trip to Pompeii in 2012
Problem is I was massively hungover from the night before and I could barely taste the pizza
They do some funny ones in Naples, kinda deep fried

The funghi Dr Oetker Ristorante pizza was one of the nicest you could get in a supermarket. Haven't had one for ages though - I'm not even sure if they still do it
