dont think Jose has worked with any of our players before.. so he basically has 30 new signings...

I imagine he wanted to leave us because he didn't believe we'd win any trophies. I suppose with Mourinho and his CV it might give one or two of the underperforming ones belief we can win something.

The most worrying thing might be Levy's ability to acquire Jose's targets. I mean it's like the chairman who is one of the worst for getting his manager the right targets paired with the guy who complains the most when he doesn't get his targets.

You can have Matic if you want, maybe swap with Troy Parrott as you won't be playing him anyway

That's a good point and Im not a Jose fan. (Cant stand him to be honest)
Only thing is not wumming but the only realistic trophy this season is the FA Cup so if Eriksen believes he may win a trophy under Jose he may very well have to sign on for at least another year.

CL a slight possibility I suppose if Mourinho is still up for it. If he won the CL with us this season people would quickly stop complaining about him.

Usually I’m first to blame Levy and I have been in Levys case more than anyone on here, but no way would Mourinho take this job without reassurances. There will be funds for him in Jan I am certain.

Media sheite stirring. Does anyone seriously believe José took the job with no discussion about planned budgets? Or that Levy would appoint him on the Wednesday then tell him on the Thursday there’s no money to spend? This isn’t how business works; the media just appeal to people’s sense of outrage and a percentage fall for it every time.

This isn't news to anyone who knows what Levy is like. We know it's going to be another disappointing transfer window. Levy is a con artist. Probably promised Jose funds but will now pull the rug from under his feet with little backing. It's what he does.

But that wouldn't benefit Levy at all. Telling Jose that he can spend then afterwards telling him he can't.

Levy NEEDS Jose to succeed otherwise sacking Poch and then having to let Jose go too would be disastrous. If he was promised funds, then he will get it.

Football fans are the most fickle folk out there mate.

we just bought 3 players, 2 of which have barely played yet to be fair...

mourinho i am sure will take a month or so to assess his squad and then mourinho and his team will talk to the transfer committee about a 'want' list, and this will then be discussed, including prices, wages, and time frames....
