No chance.

You will get Poch.

There's no point going in for Nuno at this point, now that Jorge Mendes has found a much more high profile home to park his stable of players.

With how he's doing at Wolves I don't know why he'd want to swap that for the headaches at Arsenal.

I think he is a tad overrated. A cool name and a good manner about him but actually sets Wolves up quite boringly. This may be harsh as I’m aware they were just promoted last season but I think a truly inspirational/quality manager would be pushing Wolves for top 6 since they came up, like Leicester are doing now.

Won less than Emery in Spain too

seems a tad harsh particularly as they're juggling the Europa unlike Leicester - most teams outside the big 6 can't handle both so by comparison Wolves are doing relatively well.

They play awful football but he's decent

He sets his teams up defensively similar to Jose who he played under. It works of you're an underdog, but not so well at top teams as we saw at utd and Chelsea with Jose.

It’d be so weird seeing Mourinho and his vastly inferior brother managing in North London.

Would prefer Poch if he wants the job. He has lots of PL experience and has managed well considering weak top level support and frequent poor game performances by certain "big stars".

If this doesn't happen then I would like to see Eddie Howe given a chance at the job.

Probably a little unfair to label Nuno negative but he is certainly or at least generally a safety first manager. He likes to stick to what works for maybe a little longer than necessary and the latest example of this is us changing back to 3-4-3 three games ago and since then having 58 shots on goal compared to the average of ten shots a game prior to that in which we really were hard to watch for large parts of games.

Who knows how he would be at a club like Arsenal with so many options and weapons but he did have the same reputation in Portugal and Spain for safety first.

Most importantly though i really don't see him moving away from us just yet when he is always preaching the project which is far from over for us if we assume our owners mean what they say.

His current contract is due to run out at the end of this season as far as I can tell.

He's not exactly my cup of tea, but he's just the kind of manager I'd expect our small-time Board to be in for.

We're 5th.

If Arsenal are going down the defensive route they could do far better than Nuno. Rafa or Allegri (unless we go for him) would take the job I reckon. Maybe not until the summer in Allegri’s case, but Rafa would probably break his contract in China to go to Arsenal right now.

C'mon Tam, 7th last season isn't pushing top six either

The mighty 'big 6' have managed to beat us five times over the sixteen games we have faced them so far.

No thanks. Don't want to be gambling with our next appointment, it needs to be somebody proven that can bring instant stability. It would be too easy to get on Nuno's back if things got rocky.

If we really have to gamble then I'd rather go all out with Arteta/Ljungberg etc.

Don't know why you didn't just say Tony Pulis. No more of this playing from the back nonsense and we'd be more defensive. Boom.

Because it’s not a certainty that he’d get the United job. He’s probably weighing up his options and learning English (the English thing has been widely reported).
That’s why I think he could go to Arsenal, but maybe not right now. That seems to be the feeling among most of the journalists that have commented on Allegri coming to England.

Mate, you're the one who contradicted himself. Plus, when has language been a total impediment? Not sure I've heard of a manager saying "I'd love the job but hold off for 6 months please... yeah, I just need a minute to get up to speed with your language"...
