Bounedjah is of a similar mold. That's who id go for as like you say, Mitrovic aint available.

Seem to remember that Vydra tried to screw us on wages the last time we attempted to sign him.

Lot of money for a player that won’t start unless we have injuries. That hasn’t played for so long that it would take a while to get match fit for a normal coach, never mind ours.

Phil Haye has just said that Costa was one the one player Bielsa was desperate to sign and he pushed and pushed to make it happen.
Therefore I would imagine he will Continue to work on him or the system and try to make that work out.

Can’t see us signing Vydra. Possibly is Eddie goes but still doesn’t make sense for me. Vydra doesn’t seem like the right player to sit on the bench as back up to Bamford

Bielsa fitness level needs are massively overstated.

He is a professional footballer playing professional football.

He wouldnt need "months" to be fit enough.

Lightweight, gets knocked off the ball too easily. Good finisher, will score if the system is built around him, otherwise not. Often a luxury passenger.
Having said that, he's miles better than Bamford

No he will be fit. I said match fit, which is being used to the rhythm of a side and reading the game. It takes a bit to go back into that after a break. He’s hardly played for ages and it’s a new side too. Bielsa likes to have players spend at least 30 training sessions with the side before they can start.
