Look, I'm flattered but I don't go that way.

If he loses the next two games it might be the end for him.

No point in sacking him if we dont have a proper replacement for him which is highly unlikely mid season. I think even if he carries on the way he’s been going he’ll at least stay until the end of the season. This season was never really about top 4 or trophies so a caretaker manager doesn’t really help either.

Hopefully we smash Jose's Spurs and you crawl back up your rock for a while.

It is actually funny, most of us here know OGS has not got the minerals to get us back into the champions league. What is frustrating is that we look more toothless now compared to under Mourinho.

The ridiculous statistics he is breaking I can deal with, what I won't accept is seeing no progression or growth in our team and just supporting this manager blindly.

It is time to go.

The structure above Ole looks like its rotten. You might get a new manager bounce for a few months, then there's a good chance it will all go pear shaped again quite quickly.

still say give him time.

the guy has shifted a load of overpaid deadwood out and talks a good talk, he needs the time and resources to back that talk up.

lets say we go out over the next 2 windows and sign for example Sancho, Haaland and a decent cm.... the team on a whole improves massively.

people are so quick to pull the trigger, but the guy is currently working with one of the poorest midfields ive seen at the club in many many years, and thats where games are won and lost.

Poch is available. Ole was appointed as a caretaker manager originally, that's how it should have remained but the board are clueless. No point sticking with a manager that's just not good enough for the job. Its pretty obvious, its not going to improve because if it was, at some point in the last 8 months we would have seen some sort of progression, but its getting worse. And no, playing the youth blindly doesn't lay any sort of foundation at all. There are no foundations being laid, just crumbling club with no strategy by the looks of it.

How many ole out articles do you hope to get in before and after the spurs game

things havent improved because he is still working with a core group of players that just arent good enough.

you talk about poch... but he got sacked with spurs in a worse position that us and a far better squad... what the feck makes you think he would improve us at the minute?

The board made a mistake in making Ole the manager on a permanent basis before the end of the season. They succumbed to media pressure/ex-players calling for him to be given the job right then.

They should have waited until the end of the season to see if Ole could keep it up.

Every manager reaches a point at the club where they just can't take them further and eventually lose motivation where they need a fresh challenge, look at City and Pep now. You can't deny how much Poch improved Spurs when he took over. Fact is, he's a far better coach than Ole and he'll at least improve they players. I've seen no improvement with any of the players we have in the past 8 months. We're being out played by the likes of Villa at home for god sake. That's down to poor coaching and tactics.

Brendan Rogers has improved Leicester 10 folds since he took over, that's what a good manager does. We have not improved at all.

I'm not in the Ole out camp however, if he were to get sacked this month I don't think anyone could moan too much either based on results.

It sounds like a broken record I know but I do hope that things are going on behind the scenes to improve the overall structure of the club. I do believe that Ole, being the honourable man that he is, would call it quits himself if he didn't think he was getting anywhere.

He does have to improve though (as do the players and board) and I don't think he can get away with performances, such as what we've seen in the first half of the last two PL games, for too long. He also needs to ensure that we keep our foot down when we go ahead as I make it 12 points we've frittered away when we've been in the lead in matches. Even if we'd have held on in half of them we'd be right in the CL qualification mix.

You don't hope that though, do you?

You hope we lose so you can see another manager get moved on in the naive hope that the next manager will be the one.

Man Utd fans wanted Mourinho to lose so he would be sacked. Now they wanted mourinho to win so his replacement is sacked.

🤣🤣🤣

Don't worry, I was just wondering what it was like being Big McTominay for a minute there.

No. I don't see Ole out at that specific time you suggest O.P... No.
It's obvious to anyone, UTD hit the reset button.
You cannot have the Summer window they had and expect a high standard.
But they thought this was good enough to amount a challenge for 3rd or 4th?
I believe Ed and Co thought, UTD are equal to Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs.
Is that a fair enough train of thought?

Yes Ole has made mistakes, but he has had his hand tied behind his back. We know if Pogba was playing he would be getting all the blame, but we need him, Ole needs him.
I can understand if Ole is let go, but i'm not blaming him for anything...
There's no experienced leader on the field inspiring them. keeping them honest.
I do believe UTD is an easy fix. but i don't see it happening until the summer...
