That's fine by me.

Only shame is we've let a valuable asset leave for nothing but as for value for money over the years, £11m was a steal.

I'm sure Ed will come along and offer you £50 million in January, don't worry.

Well that would be lovely but I believe he's already turned United down once. And if true, not sure why he'd change his mind now.

Good... sooner he facks off the better. At this point he's a waste of a squad place with lots of competition in his position. There's no value to be had now or in the summer so get rid

Yeh, probably got his heart set on a move to Spain.

Let's see if a ridiculous contract offer can sway him. If he wants £300k per week, we'll give him £400k.

He's got a rude awakening waiting for him in Madrid if that's where he goes.

Whatever gave you that idea?!

Not bothered one way or another if he goes or stays very average footballer and very overrated.

posted on 3/12/19

Well he's definitely nothing close to very average.

He's wasting his career away at the moment. 18 months ago he was a top player in his prime, and his next move was likely Madrid.

The contract dispute has no doubt affected his form and I'm sure he'll improve at his next club but he has regressed a lot. It's very hard to get back to where he was.

Fully expect him to sit on juve's bench for the next two years making very little impact.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why?

It would suit him down to the T!

Plenty of spaces around him, a team that has a lot of movement up front so easy to find players and they are in the top 2 of the league more often than not.

Plus it is always sunny there (almost!) so what's not to like?

You mean he'll miss the rain, the journey to Blackpool when it grey and the M1 is gridlocked, and people greet each other with swearing?

Must be mad not to go!

It's facking 45-50 degrees celcius in Madrid in summer and freezing balls of in winter. Just because it's Spain doesn't mean the weather is sunny breezy 27 degrees all year round
