Sometimes you have to hold your hands up and appreciate what both teams did. 97 points with the league as strong as it is and with the money they've spent (behind City, United and possibly even Arsenal net) while taking home the CL is about as far from bottling it as you can get.

Be 14 points if we win on Saturday before Man-city player later on.
Even if they beat their city rivals. Will still be an 11 point gap.
I think it is as good as over. Liverpool haven't even looked particularly impressive yet and keep winning so when they hit form it will be a breeze.

Why won't we when we've only got one game a week and everyone else around us has two? I'd say we're far more likely to get stronger as the season progresses, as we are now to be fair. We're better now than we were at the start of the season.
We're also not necessarily playing brilliantly or at the top of our game every week either but we keep winning and defensively we're absolutely solid, teams barely get a shot against us let alone score.
