All I am pointing out is Rodgers main job he has done is making your side extremely efficient. Honestly Vardy is having an insane season. Football is one of the few sports tactics and domination can mean little. Leicester City could start playing much better and go on a losing run. Play shocking and go on a big winning run.
Di Matteo won CL and FA Cup despite his side getting mullered every game but efficiency was like 6x that of there opponent every game.

Simple really:
Get more efficient in front of goal - play to Vardy’s strengths
Get more efficient in defence - get rid of Maguire and get a better defender
That’s why Rodgers is > Puel

Soyuncu. We just got the replacement a year before we sold him, ensuring we maximised the money we got for him.
A gamble maybe, while someone like Tarkowski would have been an expensive but safer pair of hands. But one that has been paying off well so far this season.
80m from Maguire, sitting in the bank, never needed to even buy a replacement Happy days.
Maguire is main reason for a lot of our goals conceded. Should have kept Smalling.

Sorry to have to tell you but Maguire isn't a particularly good defender- but you've found that out anyway! He was tidy for us and gave us something else with his driving runs but his defensive positioning isn't the best nor is he quick, although he is decent in the air and has reasonable ball control - overall we were happy with him. He does tend to lose the ball occasionally when he wanders into the opposition half which isn't good for the other defenders stress levels!
However in no way can he be considered a patch on VVD (who cost less) and in my view he just isn't the sort of transformative defender that Man U need. He's also 26 so unlikely to improve much.
What no Celtic fans? Where are they all? 😂

That’s a good summary Nuneaton. I didn’t want Maguire to go but, if I’d known what we’d got in Soyuncu, I’d have worried far less. The biggest worry now is cover for Soyuncu and Evans with only an ageing Morgan seemingly ready. They are a better pair than Maguire and Evans were and it seems strange now that Soyuncu probably wouldn’t have got his chance if Maguire had stayed.
Maguire is a good player, but everything I’ve read on the MU pages suggested that they wanted someone positionally good and defensively solid. That’s not Harry. He’s more of a luxury player in a team that already dominates possession. I always thought he’d be a better fit at Man City than anyone else currently.
Erm, cover for Soyuncu? Come on Joby, don’t forget we’ve got the Croatian Maldini!

Yes, I did choose my words deliberately:
“... with only an ageing Morgan seemingly ready.”
I don’t know what the coaching staff have seen that suggests notable others aren’t ready.
I’m wondering if fitness is an issue with Benkovic. It’s not been said but it seems strange he’s nowhere near the match day squad at all.
That or he’s absolutely rubbish in training!!
