Don't do this yet. Nothing is done in December. We won 7 on the bounce similiar time last year.
I'm very confident, much more than this time last season. But still 26 games to be played.
Hull beat us at ER last season, and outplayed us the season before at ER plus the form Bowen is in (10 in 10) it'll be a close game Tuesday. Confident we can beat Cardiff though but they're a ER bogey team
We look in a very good place atm
1/7 sky and 1/8 bet365 for top 2. Just hoping we don't go on a slide when we knock Arsenal out of cup.
LIW
I said and stick to what I said in match thread - when I see that we are 11/12 points clear of third place I think it’ll be done too. Cannot see us slipping after that.

I worry about that too and we always dip in new year, so building a bit of a gap now is essential.
Hope we can go get Bowen in January. Solidify what we have.
Saying that, him and Mitrovic will be signed by Prem teams in the window.
Recall about this time last year the original poster claiming we'd be promoted by April. Really hope he doesn't prove to be the kiss of death on us.
I'm very confident and have been all season.
Put my bet on Leeds to win the league & Bamford to be top scorer. Second part won't happen now but he should be right up there with the chances he has had.
Made the prediction on here will be top at Christmas after the Wednesday draw, think you disagreed, but the signs have been there all season that we are a level above at least 20 of the teams in this league.
For those that are constantly critical of our performances, you want to watch other Championship games. I put the Forest game on last night and the standard was diabolical compared to the standard we get to see.
No chance will sign Bowen or Mitrovic. Would be nice to see the latter signed by a Prem club but can't see that happen either. Watford should be interested but would he go and do they have the money?
Rad, we are better equipped than last season to go up. Still we can't be too complacent. When we are mathematically sure we're getting promoted, then I will beliieve it - period.

90 points would surely take us up.
That’s another 47 points from 26 games
14 wins should do it
January is going to be important.
Think a couple of key signings to see us over the line will be vital.
Playing 4 full backs across the backline and a centre back in midfield was scary at the start of play.
I hate posts like this. We are doing okay but it is tempting fate to get carried away in thinking that winning our next 2 will mean we are home and hosed.
We are having a good run as per usual up to boxing day and then for me the season starts.
I still reckon Derby will make a late surge like Villa last season and if we lose White through injury and Kiko gets the expected 6-12 game ban then things can soon look a lot different and the pressure will build and our bottle will be well and truly tested.
Having said all that we do look mentally tougher this season so the omens are very good.

Completely agree except for the Derby bit!
Mind you, if he'd said win the next three away fixtures, I would be inclined to agree with Wakey
Question here for you all.........
What was the largest gap we had last season between us and 3rd place? My mate says we were 11 points clear at one stage but i cant see this when looking back through tables.
Villa were 13th in March. We aren't up until we are mathematically up. We always fall apart over Christmas after a good pre Christmas run. We go up if the manager and owners improve the squad. Its a marathon not a sprint.

Nothing I say on here or and anyone else, has zero barring on what will happen.
Zero
We’ll go up, I’ve no doubts
Way too early to be talking like this, but I sincerely hope that LIW remembers to give me a great big "I told you so" later in the season!!
Like the great man himself, many football supporters are very superstitious Wakey. Talking us up will not affect how well we play or the results for the rest of the season but nobody wants to risk it.
Get the champagne out, it’s nearly time
After the way we fell apart end of last season, I daren’t even think about promotion until it is actually achieved. We never imagined Derby were going to beat us in the semi-final - but they did (or rather we gifted it to them!). Too many games to go to even think about it yet.
