Its not racist to think there are too many people in this country.

Neville's spot-on here. Racists are cowards by nature and have just enough intelligence to realise that their views are not socially-acceptable.
But when they start to see that people who share their views are getting into power, they emerge from under their stones - hence the fact that instances of racially-motivated crimes in society as well as at football matches have hugely increased since Farage and Johnson "won" their argument and a white supremacist such as Donald Trump became the most powerful man on the planet.
Basically, we need to make racists scared again - starting on Thursday by making sure their man Johnson doesn't get in.

In the end it will historically just be a flare-up in the fight against this virus. Sort of like when you're sick and on medication but it gets worse a few times before it gets better.

Social media is a big part of people's lives these days.
The point is certain people can't express a view without the radical left making life difficult for them. Not exactly the spirit of free speech.
Anyway, the more the country moves to the left, the more extreme the right becomes and vice versa.
It isn't a one way street in twitter, Techno. It works much the other way as well. Right wing nuts have hounded people and their safety as well. Some had to move homes, etc. If you're using twitter, each side is just as bad.
Exactly why I don't use social media.
But the point is in the media there is more pressure to accept left wing views.

I don't completely agree with that, Techno. The media aren't one monolithic group. Each has their slant and agendas. In some things they are left wing and others right. Certain groups are given more favourable reporting than others. Only recently has the language used in the media been highlighted. Before, loaded languages, or terms used referring to crimes by one group and not another where never highlighted.

Social media is a big part of people's lives these days.
The point is certain people can't express a view without the radical left making life difficult for them. Not exactly the spirit of free speech.
Anyway, the more the country moves to the left, the more extreme the right becomes and vice versa.

It isn't a one way street in twitter, Techno. It works much the other way as well. Right wing nuts have hounded people and their safety as well. Some had to move homes, etc. If you're using twitter, each side is just as bad.

I don't completely agree with that, Techno. The media aren't one monolithic group. Each has their slant and agendas. In some things they are left wing and others right. Certain groups are given more favourable reporting than others. Only recently has the language used in the media been highlighted. Before, loaded languages, or terms used referring to crimes by one group and not another where never highlighted.
