I think it show how a step further...since England support that awful paper, Liverpool should pull their players from the squad.
Not like Liverpool supporters also support England anyway.

I have read the Guardian all my life, when I was young it was called the Manchester Guardian.
Jimmy, they make plenty of mistakes, but I think they try to tell the truth. It is owned by a trust, like the BBC, and is guaranteed editorial freedom.
People think it is highbrow, but it's not, they have some great indepth articles, the sports section is good with a couple of really good football types, Barney Ronay being a favourite of mine.
It is left wing, which suits me, but the news is straight, it's the opinion that is the left bit.

Manusince, I read the Grauniad nearly every day. They are the source of much mirth. I think they take themselves a tad too seriously. Clearly left of centre, and in many ways dear to my heart, but they tend to move from the sublime to the ridiculous at the drop of a hat. I think at times that they’ve yet to understand that big word, “balance” in their journalism.
And for me, that lets them down, stops their views being taken seriously. Being owned by a trust as opposed to any individual doesn’t cut it for me.
