Still unsure who to vote for. May not vote based on that fact. Or vote green/ libs as a protest vote.

"Do you earn a healthy salary, and your main concern is what's best for you and your immediate family? Then probably vote Tory."
Not always the case. We have a combined wage in our household of around £60k, but Labor are putting more funding into education, free kids meals and free childcare from 2.
And not the "free" childcare the Tories put forward that actually costs me £600 a month for 3 days care a week for my 3 year old, soon to be 2 children.
That would save me a lot of money over the next 4 years
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How many hours is your 3 year old in nursery to still be paying £600 over the 30 hours funded?!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't have kids do you?
There are lots of rules in place;
1) You have to pay for "wrap around hours", that's breakfast, lunch and dinner hours. These are not included in the 30 hours "free".
2) You have to use a half or full day. You cannot skip break and dinner wrap around hours to avoid paying.
3) We must pay for bank holidays, so even though our daughter only went for 1 day a week until she turned 3, being a Monday, that cost us £200 a month.
Basically the "free hours" save us about 30% of costs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I have 2. Aged 1 and 2... My daughter (2 yr old) is in 8 hours per day for 4 days which costs us around £750/month. Hence, I can't believe you are paying £600 even after the 30 hours free... unless yours is in 12 hours per day 5 days per week??
It's 30 hours per week over 52 weeks (1140 hours in total) which you can use how you wish.
