Dont think he takes it even then.

If we have a deal in place for Vydra, then once he gets up to speed on how we play then he dosent get a look in.

I'd imagine that if Bamford got an injury he would look at putting Costa or Harrison upfront and playing Alioski on the wing.

I hate to say it, but I dont rate Eddie that highly, think he is too old fashioned for modern football where you tend to play just one upfront

Bamford played well tonight and should have had two.

But his clearance off the line and then 30 seconds later he hits the post just shows how hard he works and how fit he is.

Vydra not happening. Gayle not happening. Bowen not happening.

Bamford is missing too many chances and should have scored tonight. But his all round game is brilliant and without him we would not be the same side. Key player for us given Eddie’s performances he might be the most irreplaceable in our side at the moment

Maybe it is.

But, I'd be surprised if we were not in for a striker come January, and if we are sailing clear of third we are far more attractive to players who would be willing to drop down for a half a season.

I'm less and less convinced about the need for a centreback.

Truth is Dallas being able to play rightback means we have a first choice of Cooper and White with Berardi and Ayling as cover, I dont know who would be available (all be it i havent really looked at potential signings) who would be better than those two and willing to be a third choice.

Unless we are looking to sign a player now to replace White cause we dont think he will be here next year.

Berardi, Dallas and Ayling have been awesome. Only issue is Ayling attempting to kick the ball long infield - goes wrong EVERY time.

Honestly cannot complain about one of our players at the moment though, even though they make some daft mistakes that shouldn't happen, but so does everyone

It's clear that MB loves him some Bamford.
So we won't be replacing him. Think it's clear
something's wrong with the Eddie/MB
relationship. Any replacement will be for him.

Thought there was some poor performances tonight

Costa first touch was appalling
Klich couldn’t pass wind
Philips passing was poor

That's why he'll be off back to Arsenal soon. Maybe Eddie knows it? It's clear MB does not want him starting.
And is not that fussed about playing him as a sub.
So, why bother?

No sign at all that there is a problem with Bielsa & Eddie’s relationship.

What’s obvious is that Bamford has been brilliant for us and is vital to the way we play. That Eddie has come on quite regularly for him when fit and failed to show that he can match Bamfords impact.

I thought Costa once again is showing why we signed him and looks more threatening each game. Was very disappointed with him and he still ain’t a £15mill player but showing signs he could turn out to be one hopefully.

Thought Dallas had his weakest game for a long time tonight. I would give Alioski his chance ahead of him against Cardiff. He deserves it.

I don't have a problem with MB playing Bamford now.
One, because I don't have any control over that decision so it's just a waste of energy. Two, MB loves him.

As long as we're winning. Not fussed. If we start coming unglued and we fall off goal-wise, then we'll see.

Outside of that, Eddie will be gone soon. So that gripe
will be done and dusted also.

Either one of them two in this team and we'd would've sealed the title by Boxing Day.

Point is, Bamford has done great. And MB loves him.

But, Bamford's not the best striker in this division.
If we could sign either Mitrovic or Bowen, we'd be
laughing. But, we can't. Won't happen.

Agree passing was off tonight but even so we played some great stuff at times
