This season? Can’t see him coming to us when he’s got a premiership medal awaiting him in May... but a real possibility for next season

Would be great, and also important to have an experienced PL player in the squad, if Leeds go up

posted on 11/12/19

Where would you play him

posted on 11/12/19

Depends who stays and who is shipped out, if promoted

On about now

Tosun plays for Everton. Milner had his chance to come back, no thanks. Tosun offers somerhing different to Bamford, Brewster would only be an Eddie replacement id imagine.

Tosun, looks s@ite every time I’ve seen him

Have we ever tried to get Milner?..

Or did he lose his chance after refusing a pay cut?..

When did he refuse a pay cut

posted on 11/12/19

LIW, I'm asking because there was talk around here about getting him but his wages would be to high!..

Some said if he took a cut maybe, but I'd say he'd be a fool to take a cut!..

But have the club ever tried to get him?..

posted on 11/12/19

Can't see he would come down to the Championship, so the only realistic way he would re-join Leeds, is if they went up

Germany have you read the thread

LIW, have you read what people have said?..

One says he had his chance, no thanks!..

return would be. Speaking to The Sportsman, he said: "It would be amazing to play for Leeds again but no-one from the club has ever contacted me about that. People talk about my age and that I’m getting on, and could I continue after Liverpool, but I don’t think I’m typical physically for my

Yes I read it, you obviously didn’t 👍

You know what LIW, I did read it, obvious your not reading what others say!..

Read my questions than sit them to that post, maybe then you'll work it out!..

He was coming to Leeds if we went up last season.

I expect he will be next if we go up this season.

When we are in the premiership and he has signed he will play either side of Phillips in the 3-3-1-3 formation.

Or as a full back or 8 in 4-1-4-1.

Will he be good enough for what we need? Or a massive improvement on what we have? I don’t know. He’s been brilliant for years and so underrated but how much longer can he keep it up? Will offer a very reliable player that canplay plenty of roles.

I will be happy to sign him on a free and for a much lower wage than he is on right now. And you know what I think it will happen. If we go up

Germany

You’ve asked if Leeds have ever tried to get him.

In the interview, his quotes are clearly on this thread

He says clearly Leeds have never tried

What’s so hard to understand, it’s come from the horses mouth

posted on 11/12/19

I think he’s lying that no one had contacted him.

He was making pretty concrete plans to move back to the area. And been told a deal was ready to be signed.

I would defo have Milner back.

Loads of experience,

Can play anywhere, an older wiser and better Dallas.

Loves ER, the crowd, the fans like him

Also think it’s good to have certain figures in and around the club, or team.. I’m certain city’s problems are something to do with kompany not being there.. he hardly played last season did he?..

As to where I’d play him now?? Well I’m sure he’d of slotted right in the KP role vs a Hudds?

He might have been asked in the past but he was flying with Liverpool and we were going nowhere fast, anyone could see that. Now both the club and Milner are in different situations. His experience would be invaluable for bringing on the younger players.

Has he still got the legs is the big question. He's obviously still got the heart. Where would you play him? We were stuck for a DM for Hull, for example. He could certainly beef up any midfield.

That is what I was asking for!..

Sorry if you haven't read it!..

So we’re taking what Shaun says been certain now

No idea whether he’s been approached or not.

Right now & for last few seasons he’s been a mainstay in a successful Liverpool side. If they win the prem & we go up, then maybe I can see it happening.

i think it will happen if we go up this year too.
there is a place for him on leeds and i don't think liverpool will keep him past this year.
although i don't see why not. rarely has a bad game.

Easiest question to answer in a long time.would we want a serial winner, with the most premiership experience of players still playing and still young enough for us to use it.add also that he his very versatile a quality Bielsa values.yes please.
