Also the NHS is a religion to some people clearly, I would love it to be stripped back, unlike the useless Tories who are preparing to spend obscene amount of money propping up a system no country has rightly tried to copy.

It isnt the envy of the world. Free at the point of use should not mean socialising all forms of health care with a huge tax burden.

And I dint say thus as some grinning, maniacal venture capitalist: the reality is the NHS cannot cope with our unhealthy lifestyles and diets, which are unsustainable, and we dont have the infrastructure to look after people in care because the demand is too high as too many people are unhealthy and sedentary and dependent on others by the age of 60.

We should look to Europe, where Switzerland, France and the Netherlands have much better health care systems that look nothing like the NHS.

Honestly, the way Guardianistas on here say “Our NHS” is like how Express readers used to say “Our Diana”.
