I've heard the very same comments. would love himat Leeds, you also and a Leeds boy! thing he's also Readsings player os the year from last season - also thought he stood out in an average Reading side when we beat them recently

Player of the season last season. Would he start fornus currently or is he a decent player to bring off the bench second half?

we lack depth in KP role. lad can also play CB or RWB. if noises about Chelsea are true wanting White in Jan we really are short

MB likes to have DM's who can also double up in defence

Shaun exactly. Exactly how I see it. How can anyone think we have enough CM's at moment. I ain't a fan of Forshaw and Shackleton ain't been able to get a run of games at CM.

Urgent need for a CB and a CF over a CM, I think.

Ben White to Chelsea would be a disaster. Ayala needs to happen also.

I wouldn't say we have an urgent need for anyone. If we add a highly rated young CM then that would be nice. Don't think we need to rush out for reinforcements though.

I feel now is the time that we start taking educated gambles on players come January. Our best opportunity to get automatic promotion alongside highly likely further investement and/or club sale. If we go up we're in the market for new players that fit Bielsa style in the summer. if these players are available now (even at a premium) we should be taking them! it gives us more depth in cover and it gives new players additional time to absorb Bielsa-Ball. long term or even 2 months out for KP or PB or even Coop's and our whole dynamic changes.

for what its worth as a side note - there isnt a striker in the championship id rather have up top over PB even with his average scoring record. he adds everything and more that Bielsa wants his number 9 to do and helps us play the football Bielsa wants us to.

I'm truly convinced we are the best team in the league - but very small variables can have a huge negative impact

Of course this guy might be getting viewed as a replacement for Phillips if those within the club think of cashing in during Jan? I seriously hope not ….. but it'd not be a first ……

The Leeds owners and some fans on here don't seem to believe in a 'what if' case scenario.

What if Phillips, Berra and White are are injured long term or suspended. What if Bamford and Eddie are both out. We seem to like chancing it. Lets watch Man City NOT sign any defenders after the damage that's caused them so far.

You can't just buy excessive amounts of players just in case you get loads of injuries. It's not sustainable. For ages we've talked on here about quality over quantity, and now we have that but people want to go back to quantity.

We have strikers. We don't need more of them. The players who have played CB this year have done a great job thus far, which includes Ayling.

People comparing our situation to Man City's are deluded.
