Relax and enjoy the ride.

This would be easier to do if we were going forwards not backwards.

Any managers are constantly judged, it's how it is. Will Ole learn from his mistakes for the next game? Will any signings he makes improve things? And so on.

In terms of learning from mistakes. We've drawn 7 games this season. We've led in all but one. In the cast majority of those games, Ole has brought on defenders for midfielders or forwards, invited the opposition onto us and we've conceded from a cross into the box. With the knowledge that we can't defend crosses into the box, inviting pressure is probably not a great strategy. But that's a repeated mistake. And one I can see. So why can't the manager see that? Even against City, his defensive subs nearly undid all our very good work early on

I'm with the OP...

Ole needs to get results though or he won't last Beyond the summer...

If Pogba can stay fit we can have a much better 2nd half of the season

To think some people would rather see Jesse than Pogba . Some of our fans can be silly...

A better second half to the season is not good enough

Ole has had his chance and he blew it - massively

OK then...

Why is it?
He has had a whole yr and two windows and we have gone backwards. We have had to endure some of the worst matches i have seen from a united team over this last yr. West ham away, Everton away, Cardiff home, Watford away. We go into games now not even expecting a win no matter who we play. No direction, no tactics, no clue. But yeah lets give him another yr because you can see errrr what exactly?

Ole has had a whole year now. What exactly have you seen that suggest Old needs more time, because he signed 3 players that he didn't even really scout, and got rid of players that told him they want to leave, and he plays youth. He's had enough time and has shown he's completely incompetent. If the players are good enough to beat teams like City, Spurs, Chelsea etc, they are good enough to beat the bottom clubs. Inability to do that is down to poor coaching, tactics and management. And that blame lays on the Ole and his staff for that. Individual errors cost the game yesterday fair enough, but we still failed to create much chances to get back in the game.

Why does Ole persist on playing Lingard when he's clearly out of form and has family issues. Why keep playing the same 4231 formation against the lower league teams when it clearly isn't working and hasn't for some time now. Ole in game management is shocking. If we concede first, that' it...pretty much game over. All we know is how to counter attack, that's it. In possession, the team doesn't have a clue what to do.

By my reckoning ole has only had 1 window.

As a caretaker manager he wouldn't have had any say in last January's window

Correct ?

I think that Oles timescale has been reduced to just this next window now. If things don't improve by the summer he will be under pressure.

With what players he has already got and with the philosophy he claims that they all are buying into in training as he keeps telling us... with all this staff and the clubs resources behind him, Ole and United should have enough to beat crappy Watford, right now in his process.

Yesterday was inexcusable and the Club should put Ole on notice that they are watching his progress even more closely with the window approaching.

A big month ahead for Ole.

Said yesterday that it was result and performance that gets managers sacked

I ask this without any agenda....

What do you think is easier for a manager to overturn:

Being able to beat the big teams, but struggle against the underdog? (eg Ole/UTD)

or

Being able to smash the underdogs, but struggle against the better opposition? (eg, Jose/Spurs)

I personally think the first is easier to rectify, with good signings and tactical tweaks... So I am still comfortable with Ole as manager. If we are still struggling to beat such teams next season, then a decision will need to be made.

You have to give him time. What happens otherwise?

Get Poch in, sack him in twelve months. Then get Giggs in and sack him in twelve months, then get some young tyro from the Bundesliga in and sack him in twelve months.

Just let him build the club back up. Good players make good teams and we're short of a few right now.

And it's not like we haven't been gorged on trophies is it? I can go a few more years without one.
