But Ozil did ok v Bournemouth

posted on 29/12/19

No he didn't. He was active and average. FFS this is exactly the problem where the lil sh!tbrick has been concerned. He's been so crap for so long, now you've got people saying he done ok or done well, just because he turned up and actually played for once.

HE GETS OVER 300k a week. For that kinda money I wanna see KDB performance levels WEEK IN WEEK OUT. Ozil is capable of that level of performance (albeit in a different way than KDB) so JUDGING HIM BY THE STANDARD OF HIS TALENT.

No he did not do ok against Bournemouth. Judged by his talent, Ozil's performance against Bournemouth was woeful. Arsenal fans need to stop making excuses for ozil. Judge his performances by his salary. Not by comparing his first year record to that of youngsters, thrown into the team that he is handicapping. Youngsters whom by the way have already done more to serve this club in just over one season, than Ozil has done so serve it in his last 4.

Chill mate. You can't say Ozil wasn't been our best player alongside Xhaka and Torreira. I agree that we should find other player in market but when he plays ok, just admit it.

We're likely stuck with the fecker as no one in their right mind would match his wages, so it's worth trying to get him firing for the team.

Of course I can say that. I only need remember the last 4 years that you likes to pretend have not happened, where Ozil is concerned. Ozil has dug a hole of lazy, so deep, it cannot be climbed out of now. No matter what he does. We're talking about a player whom SHOULD have been booed out of the emirates by Arsenal fans long ago. NOT someone who was crap for a few games. This git couldn't even produce EFFORT! At least you know Xhaka tries his heart and can respect that even if you think he's crap.

The contempt that Ozil has shown his teammates and the fans, week in week out, for years. Musn't be ignored because that contempt has bred contempt from/in the rest of the team. You know, the mugs turning up with 100% effort for less than half what Ozil gets. THEY'RE all sick of it and sick of him. That is the underlying reason for team performances. THEY WILL NOT RALLY BEHIND OZIL because they know faith put in him is misplaced.

I'm beginning to think that the majority aren't truly going to see/understand this now, until Ozil has actually left. He's been a heavy cloud over the emirates for so long now, people can't see due to low light. With the cloud gone, you'll all again see how a football team is MEANT to play. How your team used to play, before the bigass cloud brought nothing but dull overcast footy to the emirates.

Only when you see your team without him, will you truly appreciate just how damaging to it his presence has been

The team has played shiiite without Ozil though, especially the last couple of seasons, thus utterly blowing your argument out of the water.

Wonder what ops response will be if Artetas response provokes an Ozil masterclass today or against united

I can't stand the but the fact is he's here until May 2021, Arteta doesn't really have a choice. Leaving him on the sidelines creates as much of a dark cloud as him playing does anyway.

Last season they had their problems but were able to get to CL contention. Nobody believes we'd have failed to qualify for the CL had Ramsey stayed fit. Son you can't write off 31 games of last season, in context of this argument.

Without Ozil, using a player only as good as Ramsey, this group of players is capable of 3rd of 4th. With Ozil, its 11th. 3rd or 4th with him benched vs 11th with him starting. And people wanna tell me to use common sense. Seriously, like being 11th do you?

Get this through ya head. He could put on a sublime masterclass for the next 20 games and I wouldn't give a rats ass. What part of TOO LITTLE TOO LATE don't you get. And why don't you remember the 100+ SH!T performances he's given and feel a bit more loyalty toward the other players? Who’ve had to carry his lazy ass whilst you kiss it and slate THEM for being sh!t.

Ozil can't make up for being dire for FOUR YEARS! Not with the money he’s been paid. And for the record, told you already you'll only see effort and a shift off Ozil, so long as the window is open, to avoid talk of selling him. Maybe again before his contract talks so he can pull the exact same "inflate my price" sh!t he pulled last contract negs. Getting the likes of you, demanding we kept him no matter the cost because he was so amazing. He made a mug of you then and has done for the 4 years since. DON'T BE A MUG YET AGAIN. Jesus, just how many sh!t games does he have to play. You and others, have written off so many players for a QUARTER of the number of poor perfornances. But not Ozil, no. He can be utter sh!t as many times as he likes and that's just fine with you.

Not at all. Nobody cared a damn that he wasn't playing last season. Because the team were winning games without him. Nobody but his most avid fanboys, wanted his lazy ass back in the team when Ramsey got injured. Because we all saw the writing on the wall for CL hopes pinned on Ozil performing. Ironically at the time I actually backed him to produce 2 good games out of 7. Figured even HE could/would show up for 2 games to be in CL this season. Lesson learned mate, he's got to go.

Get him out of the team, when results pick up, nobody will care. More to the point it might finally begin to expose what a foul little cancer his presence is/has been, to the team.
