First half I thought the handball was all he got wrong really. Second half I think he knows hes made a mistake and it affects his performance.

Game over its finished ZicoNothing more in it in my opinion.

I was sure he was intending to seek out every Celtic fan and slit their throat too.

VAR is absolutely fine in Germany, Italy etc where they've largely ironed out the kinks.

It's the way England has employed it that's causing so much controversy. They thought they knew better than people who had been using the technology for several seasons But that's England for you.

Especially when it comes to the offsides (which is what everyone is so mad about). At the end of the day when you're trying to line up which part of a player may or may not be offside.. you're relying on the quality of the picture.

I've already seen a few of the tight offside calls being zoomed in on to see where the lines touch and you're essentially looking at pixels as the quality of picture isn't up to scratch.

There's also the fact it's near impossible to know exactly which frame the ball left the foot of the player playing the ball through.

They've got to get rid of the stupid lines (which I don't think are used in VAR anywhere else other than England) if they want to clear it up. If it is that tight, then go with the on-field decision.

It's fairly simple, although the English are making a right good go at fvcking it up. Every other decision that VAR has been used for has pretty much been called spot on.

"They maintain the Colombian's throat-cutting gesture, made as he left the pitch following the dismissal, was not intended as offensive"

----------------------------------------------------------------------

"Even Alfredo’s gesture as he left the pitch is now being portrayed in some quarters as something sinister when, in fact, it is a gesture used commonly throughout South America to indicate quite simply that something – in this case, the match – is finished."

It really is as simply explained as that.

All those eejits crying out that 'he wants tae slit ur throats'
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's a load of absolute rubbish.
He wasn't in South America. I'm sure he knows what the gesture means here.
Even in its 'South American' meaning, why did he feel the need to do that to the Celtic fans?

Also don't forget Kent wants to shoot them all.

Strange though I've not heard a peep about the blatant sexual assault on Morelos.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
On a yellow at the time anaw..pfffttttttt.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Or when the same player physically ripped the collar of Aribos jersey hauling him to the deck in the box. Committing a more blatant foul than the one Katic got booked for and Celtic were Awarded a pen for.

That was the problem Clancy created with his enthusiastic penalty award for Celtic.

If he starts giving one pull in the box he HAS to give them all.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Also the attempted stamp by McGregor or Jack.

I'm all for VAR, been needing it in Scotland for years.

How was John Beaton's performance at Ibrox btw..?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He was great. He shifted a few in that right proddie bar afterwards too while singing the sash throughout.

Quite a talent.

To let them know that the game was over anyway despite him being sent off.

Tbf Suarez tried the same "it's in my South American culture" line when he was caught calling Evra something he shouldn't.

I personally don't think there was anything in Morelos gesture other than it being idiotic and another attempt to wind Celtic fans up to mask the fact he couldn't score, again.

Just saying that this "culture" defence hasn't worked in the past and likely won't work again. He isn't playing football in South America.
