Edmondson a big forward who has no first team experience but scores plenty of goals for the U23s.
However as he has not featured in the squad I assume he is not considered ready.
If we lose Eddie we must get a genuine centre forward to cover for Pat as that would ease the fear of injury as we have no cover with current players

Wait for it, with all the Leeds/PSG talk we'll be getting the best they have!.
just heard from a reliable source that we're bringing in mbappe.
Am hearing the loan fee for Eddie was around 3m if which we get nothing back for early recall.
That’s half the Roofe fee blown.
Unbelievable waste from the club after having ffp sustainability excuses rammed down our throats.
If thats true Jonty, club and Bielsa should spend tomorrow kicking each other in the gonads.
Stupidity personified.
Edmondson does have first team experience.
Played twice when he was really young.
Eddie hasnt done enough to warrant more game time. He came in and scored a few tap-ins and everyone went OTT on him. He looks a talent but a long way off the finished article and a fair way behind Bamford at present.
Not impressed if we have paid £3m to loan a kid when we could have bought better for that money.
Need someone in Sharpish. Bamford is out with a dead leg and is a doubt for WBA, now Nketiah is a doubt. We've got an FA cup distraction to give us time to get a striker in.
Personally wanted to sign a striker and KEEP Eddie.

All because club pays a lot to bamford and casilla in wages wouldn’t give parity to Roofe but it costs them more in long run, all that effort and money to bring in a player that Bielsa didn't even really want.
If we signed him for three million there will no way have put in a recall clause.
Arsenal have until jan 10 to make a decision, I expect to see Edmondson in squad
Good luck to the lad. Bristol City are his level.
Bamford's toothless?
Have you watched us this season? at all?

According to some he needs a brace!
Said it for weeks. MB fooked this up with his stubborn approach to team selection and minutes for Eddie.
Eddie was wasted here. MB has one way to attack: Bamford. Trouble is, Bamford's toothless.
And the idea that the club will NOW go get a striker to push Bamford is laughable. We sold the better one in Kemar because we paid Bamford such high wages and wouldn't match. Then left Eddie on the bench because
our 'worldie' coach couldn't adjust his tactics to suit our other option.
Oh, and as Rich said, we're skint.
And add in the ridiculous need for our new players needing to be fit enough to do back-to-back Ironmans
in an afternoon before they can play. That rules out a starting player coming in and contributing before March.
I'd say the club and MB fooked this up royally.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
This is utter nonsense surely, we are top of the league, mostly without Nketiah. Why change the system to adapt to one striker when the system you have in place is working. We cannot go any further up in the league.
That one striker is injured. Not rocket science.

Great logic if season ends today but it doesn’t, this is just a snapshot in time, we don’t have that second striker we drop down the table.
If MB is that concerned about players needing to be Olympic athletes, why don't they do a Villa/Liverpool and sign players now so that they are available sooner.
Need to sign a striker but do people realise Roberts has played twice as the lone striker and scored three goals,
Hmmn... given the game time he got, it makes the decision to ditch Ryan Kent.. a winger/10 with an eye for goal, in favour of nketiah... a striker who doesn’t fit the system... look a little misguided.

Not a reason to continue with a striker who doesn't fit in with a system that is working at the moment.
A reason to source a striker who may fit that bill.
Nketiah hasn't scored since 22nd October. I know he was injured and has had only limited game time, but so was Alioski and he has scored twice in that time.
