I would rather Lloris stay our keeper rather than us sign a GK in the summer but no RB and DM

Oh yes 100% agree

The fact we have to pick and choose which weaknesses to address and which to ignore is part of the problem though

Tripps mistake against Arsenal and Chelsea spring to mind for me. His worst displays for me though came in the CL games - particularly Ajax in Amsterdam.

Yep unfortunately we have to, two or three maximum as realistic as we have been set so far back.

Happy new year fella

Hugo jogged past me in a jam packed Leicester Square on Monday.

Don't think we miss him. Gaza has been mostly impressive for me

Official premier league has Lloris at 18 errors leading to goals in 246 apps with 87 clean sheets. Not too shabby. His reflexes imo are up their with the very best.

So not a dozen howlers a season that Christopher states like it's a fact.

He absolutely makes more mistakes than others goalkeepers
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Er no he doesn`t. Show me his mistakes over the past five years, and I can show you upteen goalies who have made more. Sure he has made a couple of high profile ones, but he really doesn`t make any more than any other keeper. I think he also saved the most penalties last season of any goalie in the Prem.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He makes literally a dozen howlers a season

I can live with 3 or 4 because as you said all keepers go through that, but no way near the same level as lloris

----------------------------------------------------------------------

A dozen howlers a season. Are you sure you actually watch football?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Coming from the guy who thinks serge faaackin aurier is good

I'm pretty sure he's literally the leader in errors leading to goals in the prem since 2016 but apparantely you can name umpteen goalies who have made more mistakes so go ahead
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Stop trying to deflect from your nonsensical stat about Lloris making a dozen howlers a season.

Lloris has gone massively down hill since he messed up in the World Cup final and then got done for drunk driving a month later.

I don’t rate him. A team as defensively frail as spurs cannot have keepers dribbling balls into own nets and dropping balls at strikers feet on the goal line.

Gazza isn’t the long term answer but he will do for now until we upgrade.

Lloris makes the odd worldy, but that’s what he’s meant to do as a “top” keeper. Saving shots is the whole point of a goal keeper so he doesn’t get any brownie points for that, and the distribution, organisation , leadership and decision making aspects of his game are seemingly so poor that he is just a very very average keeper.

However he will come in and make a worldy save and everyone will be sucking him off until the next clanger
