Hey Hinton enjoy Vietnam, we had one of our fave jollies there a long time ago do all the museums north is gut wrentching south just as bad ot makes people 'feel' wife would enjoy it too, especially fuelled by wine or gin
Just back.
We started good, then became more laboured after Marriot missed 3 gilt edged chances. Rooney looked steady but knackered at the end - fair play for putting in a shift. Bird was very good, as was Knight. Clarke doing exactly what it says on the tin with a couple of fancy namby turns.
Deserved win but oh! Why make it so difficult?
A win is a win, but we sat deeper as the game went on. I think Barnsley might stay up.

I didn't think Barnsley were too bad, but on a good night we could have done them 5-0
Could have been out of sight by half time. We need to start being more clinical.
Rooney makes this game look simple.
The 10 men effort the other night took it’s toll in the second half and we looked knackered.
Deserved win.
I’d say play the kids v Palace but we already are. So give Beilik and Lawrence and run out in the cup.
I’d rest the whole team that played tonight if it was me.

I wouldn't play Lawrence or he'd be cup tied, just sell him.

Good point, but Id be surprised if he goes to a team whos in the draw for the next round
Marriott should have had 5. He was worse than Waghorn at one on ones tonight. I was impressed with Rooney's strength and athleticism but he was a bit off the pace. Bird, Clarke and Holmes all had better games.
Clarke was unlucky to break his duck, the goalie made a worldie save.

Watched a large chunk of the match last night and I thought Rooney had a decent debut. What he clearly lacks in speed of foot he makes up with speed of mind.
He can pick a peach of a pass and find space, something that looks simple to top players.
On the negative side, a lot of the Derby players, as most at this level, do not have a comparable speed of thought to profit fully, which will irritate Rooney; and unfortunately the Derby forwards also look like they are made of animal fat and tissue paper.
Interesting to see how he develops.
Good and needed result against a tricky side
