Nuno is a better coach - agreed
Easy Wolves win - jury is out.

It won't be an easy Wolves win. But I don't see us winning, that's for sure. Probably another 2-1 defeat for us imo

This will be Wolves 4th match in 7 days so I don’t think we will be up for beating any team easily. We rested players at Liverpool and at Watford and will again on Saturday. And the problems have with their shallow squad is that any changes from the first choice 11 makes us a much weaker team. Jonny, Dendoncker and Moutinho are certainly due a rest having started three games this week already and I thought Jimenez looked weary at Watford.

Bright Enobakhare has been sent back early from his loan at Wigan after only starting one Carabao Cup tie all season. Been training with their academy recently evidently so I think we can say he has been a flop there

Owen Otasawie has signed a new 2.5 year contract after making an impressive first team debut against Besiktas. Need to get Max Kilman signed up now, he is out of contract in the summer

Will be interesting to see what priority this game is given by the respective coaches, clubs neck and neck in the league with potential to finish in the top four, both in the last 32 of the Europa league. I suspect the FA Cup might be the third priority for both clubs, however United probably have the squad depth to give them an edge in this tie.

Not sure how I feel about this tie, a little ambivalent to be honest, another cup run would be great and the club and fans clearly want to start winning things, but extra fixtures on top of what we've already played and have potentially yet to play is a massive burden going in to the second half of the season.

Rafa Mir has returned to the club also after an unsuccessful loan at Forest. Starting to look very doubtful whether he or Bright have futures at the club.

Sky Sports are linking us with Leonardo Campana, 20 year striker from Ecuador. Initially for the U23s apparently. He was top scorer in the South American U20 championships which Ecuador won. Napoli also sniffing after him.

Can’t say I ever have mixed feelings about games. I’m going and I want to see Wolves win. Extra games means more opportunities for the likes of Kilman, Vinagre, Neto, Jordao to get game time which can only benefit them and the club. The next stage in Wolves progress to me is to have 18 or 20 quality players rather than the dozen or so we have now. And the more competitions we are in the more game time these players will have. If we lose on Saturday then the likes of Kilman may not be seen in the first team again this season. Rotation doesn’t work well for Wolves at the moment because we don’t have enough good players, and that needs to change

I agree. Whatever the competition, whoever the opposition I always want to see Wolves win.
Spangles gives some good reasons for having a cup run but also it is another avenue to European football. Would rather get there by means of league position to be honest but however we do it I want us to stay in European competitions in the future.

Yes agree, would be great to be a top six team that make it through to at least euro quarterfinals stage year upon year

I'd love us to win, I'll be there cheering the lads on on Saturday but if we're beaten I won't be as disappointed as I would have been say last year when the FA Cup was the only prize we had to play for.

As well as we've coped with the fixtures, I can't see us being able to go full steam in all three comps with the squad we have. If we can progress with a heavily changed side then great but I won't be shedding tears if we're not in the fourth round draw.

Alright gents so can someone fill me in on the Cutrone situation? Or is it just rumour mill crap?

U23s play at Leicester tonight at 19:00 with the game live on Wolves tv. First match in charge for the new U23s coach James Collins

Looks like Vallejo will leave Wolves any day now with Real trying to fix up another deal for him. Plenty of top clubs around Europe evidently interested in taking him on loan which suggests this is one player we didn’t get the best out of.

Cutrone won’t be leaving until we bring in a replacement although Fiorentina would like to take him immediately

We already have a replacement for Cutrone - Enobakhare.
Like for like replacement. Both run around a lot and show lots of promise with very little in the way of end product.

Sunderland would evidently like Bright. He had a blinder for Coventry at their place when they beat them 5-4 last season

Reading that at Watford, Traore dribbled past opponents more times than any player has done in a Premier League match this season

I watched that game out of the corner of my eye in a bar in Malta, all the Premier league games were on (we got stuffed by Southampton) and that one, there were about half a dozen Sunderland fans in there at the time.
