Ndombele should not have played yesterday. He always struggles to play two games in a week. He should be eased in till his injuries / fitness improves.
The midfield is real problem and its making our defenders deal with too many one on ones.

Copied from a internet! No wonder, can't trust a internet. 🤣

Is the N.B. for the teams who have played less games is that a reference to the team at the top of the table by any chance? 🤣

The whole fiasco of the VAR system is just open to abuse, the same agenda driven and biased clowns that are on the pitch, are also sat hiding behind the VAR hot seat with licence to do as they wish.

Just posted what I think would help VAR and make life better for fans!

I heard Mourinho's VAR comments too.
But one question ..... who has the authority to refer to VAR for a decision?
Can VAR just over-rule the field referee if it feels like it, when the field ref does not refer to VAR for a decision?
Or must the field ref refer to VAR first, before VAR yields a decision?

VAR checks everything, you just don't know when they're checking it. If they think the referee may have made a mistake, they highlight it. The referee has final say, which is why you see him in conversation as he's asking the questions he needs answers to in order to make his decision.

The referee should have the monitor. It surely wouldn't take as long as the conversation if he just watches it himself.

Okay, but what I'm really asking is this .....
If the field referee makes a decision and does NOT consult VAR, can VAR overturn that decision?
Or does VAR simply stay silent?

VAR doesnt overturn decisions. It highlights it to the ref and the ref makes the decision based on what they have said.

In other leagues the referee will consult the monitor himself. The PL doesn't allow it for some reason.

Okay...so Mourinho is wrong.
The field referee can simply not consult VAR on anything the whole 90 minutes, and make decisions himself, all by himself - right?

No. He doesnt consult them. They highlight potential errors to him.

I don't know what I have to say here to make you understand. The referee does not choose to consult VAR. VAR highlights any potential errors to him, they watch the replays and convey their thoughts to him. He then makes the decision.

In other leagues the ref can watch the replay himself.

HOW do the "highlight" potential errors to him?
Surely he can just ignore them?

They speak to him through his earpiece. He could ignore them but why would he? He wants to keep his job and he has been trained and advised on how he needs to work with VAR.

Given all the controversy about VAR and its millimeter judgements it might make sense to ignore it unless there is something blatant that needs redressing.
I very much doubt a good field referee who did that would lose his job. That could be the death of VAR!

Well yes he would. They aren't allowed to ignore the VAR. They can choose to make their own decision.

They are given guidance on what they should do in particular situations. They can't just go against that.

This is also to help with consistency.
