It’s the biggest con and killer of football - utterly disgraceful 🤬

Championship - welcome to VAR. It tends to favour the bigger club in terms of time being spent looking for an angle to turn over the little clubs.

Anyone know the rule on carding a player who commits a foul to give a penalty which is later rescinded?

The card is cancelled on field by the ref.

Happened in Spain last season...

Thought that might be the case, but it can't be right.

If it isn't a penalty then there wasn't a foul so there isn't a card...

It will be interesting to hear what MOTD pundits say about the VAR decision.

What if the offence is violent conduct or handball. Refs can card a player when the ball is dead - he can even card a player who is walking off the pitch to be subbed or if he is even on the sub's bench.

For a game that was so simple and straightforward - the meddling good for nothing’s in charge have eventually managed to totally overcomplicate and totally f@ck it right up

Not that I am bothered about the result today, but VAR is Kak

They're now saying it was his knee, that's ridiculous when everybody is running, should be looking at players shoulder.

If VAR had been used in Jimmy Hill's day his chin would have been offside all the time, even if he stood on the half way line.

(If you youngsters don't know who Jimmy Hill was, ask your dad)

As Fray and Chippers were saying at HT, VAR should not overrule the on-pitch decision unless it is a clear and obvious error, which this certainly wasn't.

That requires them to stop making up the rules for VAR as they go along.

The offside rule needs changing

It needs to be so that a persons entire body should be clearly offside which gives a clear advantage that would sort the whole mess up. Whereas at the moment someone’s toenail is offside which is absolutely ludicrous and stupid

Whilever it is subjective there will be disputes. I can take the ref getting it wrong, but VAR is such a passion killer; and we still get mistakes

Have we got about 23% possession yet?

Commentator on R5 saying Forest play good football when they can get the ball.

I've seen it at 27% REV, but it is back down to 23% at the mo.
