For those saying he "made a mistake", it's a pretty big one to make. He should at least explain himself. But I would imagine he will stick to his original story to ensure he looks like he hasn't been "mistaken".
Racism has no place in football, however, accusations of a false nature are equally as harmful.

With the level of CCTV in the stadium, the time known, area that was accused known if somebody made a monkey gesture which Rudiger thought it would have certainly been picked up. Every other incident like this there is a photo online an hour after the game. I'm 100% confident after the investigation there was no racist gesture.

May be he lost the goodwill of decent folk by acting with no goodwill himself in response to Son's kick. This does not condone such behaviour from fans (as accused) but surely whatever the issue, those who act with such blatant dishonesty should reflect on their behaviour, and this is highlighted by this present situation where no evidence is found to support his claim, his honesty is now being questioned primarily because of his dishonesty on the pitch.
Like i say, racism is never justified but lessons to be learned for all sides here IMO.

The two incidents should be treated separately. The idea that profesional players during a game are honest is pure fantasy and their behaviour on the pitch during battle has no bearing on their overall character

Shock horror, despite no evidence whatsoever, Sizzle still accuses Spurs supporters of being racist. There is NO EVIDENCE you buffoon Spurs would of done everything in their power to gather as much CCTV as possible with the police and there was no evidence. I know this because I have worked with the metropolitan police, so I know the work that goes into investigating matters. Ramblings about cover up is absolutely pathetic. You are pathetic and a c***.
