ball grabbing !!

Aye it is a red under the violent conduct threshold too.

Can't have any complaints about the decision as you can't go around grabbing opposition players' balls.

The issue is consistency (as it always is with the SFA).

There's a serious disconnect between the beaks and the refs.. because referees think that grabbing an opposition players' boaby is within the rules of the game.

Basically.. our refs are crap and they never get any help from the suits, who are equally woeful. But we've all known that for years, it's hardly a surprise when they all fvck it up. Again.

Alfredo with the very dangerous thumb knife to the throat and Kent with the finger gun should get heavy fines and bans ,these weapons must be removed from our streets 🤔

They could have somebody’s eye oot

What was robbie keanes goal celebration again?

Mind a celtic player did the slit throat thing once? Cannae mind what pkayer it was... Im sure it was a black player?

Christie’s should’ve been a yellow as he’s actually pulled him back. If a shirt pull is a yellow then slap and tickle has to be.

Not sure what the recent treatment Celtic refer to in their statement, wrongly got the benefit of the doubt in both OF games with their goals.

What’s the issue , the SFA know he is out injured for a few months so he won’t be playing anyhow?

The irony in that facking statement is hilarious
The bit about the treatment of Celtic players an consistency , no way is lawwell not laughing whilst typing that 😁

The meltdown now enters its 2nd week , very pleading
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pretty much just a rehash of the Gers statement last week except it's not about Morelos.

Both are embarrassing given the amount of debatable decisions both sides have received over the years from referees. Both teams are usually given the benefit of the doubt.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Both rangers and celtic get more good calls for them than bad calls against them compared to the rest of the league imo

Which part of the football did he win?

Which part of the football was he going for?

Considering the football was nowhere near Morelos when he grabbed his balls.

It's a red card all day long under the rules. If the ref sees it, it's a straight red. Well it should be.. but given John Beaton's inability to apply the rules last season, anything is possible.

Think the OA is a bit harsh...I would say maby the last few games at most...not 6 or 7 and it's now evident as to why his form had dipped. Prior to this he was probably the first man on the team sheet. Absolute brilliant player

what you talking about ?
he jumped in got nutmegged and tried to stop the player going round him , he hits his eggs but that's coincidence

He's not diving in and trying to grab his piece ffs

Like I said , anyone been nutmegged before ?
What do you do when you get the ball put between your legs and the guys goes to collect other side ?
You grab him , and Christies balance should be looked at regarding the incident to gain further understanding

Not in the last 6 games he hasn't been

He had two grabs at Morelos balls.. which is no accident.

He was looking for revenge from last season.

Only difference is that Beaton thinks grabbing an opponent by the balls is well within the rules of the game

So , would you say Christie has been rotten in the past 5 or 6 games ?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I've already made my opinion on him and others crystal clear in my last few posts, this isn't question time, why does everycvnt on the internet wanna talk like a politician, you don't need to try to win every disagreement.

It's simple Ryan Christie has been Celtics best player this season, him and Forrest's form have dipped since Lenny started playing them out of position, but I would say he's been no worse than the majority of players on the pitch so to say he should be drop for me is ridiculous unless you are trying to say most of the team should be dropped.

I'm not trying to get you to change your mind, just giving my point of view.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So yes is the answer

So what's baffling about the thread then ?

Nobody is suggesting Christie has been like this all season , for the most part he's been great
Bit we all agree he's went off the boil for whatever reason
Nothing baffling about that
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My point is if everyone else was playing well then his form recently could well get him dropped, but if everyone around him is playing just as poorly he'd be the last guy to get dropped due to his significant contribution this season, especially since his form dip has coincided with him be played out of position.

Much ado about very little imo. If you're going to grab a player there, make sure you don't get caught otherwise it's a possible red.

Too many snowflakes nowadays.

Not read the thread but suspect it's a wee 'balancer'.

Attempt to calm down Bears over 'Freddo's shameful treatment'.

Totally agree...hand out a reasonably harsh punishment to a player that is going to miss those games anyway...sweep sweep, nothing to see here

Exactly schiz.

He's not 100% fit anyway so no real loss.

It sets a dangerous precedent tho.

Not that these Blazer Thickos will see that.

Canny mind who I've not spoken to but HNY to you just in case.
