Been a little disappointed with Jota overall this season, really felt after his second half to last season he was going to be on fire this season but instead he has been very erratic and quite wasteful in possession in between small injury lay offs

It isn't even his goal record which over all comps isn't too bad, it is more how wasteful he seems to be and how often he just makes the wrong decision and runs down a blind alley this season. Still a very dangerous player mind and sure he will come on strong again soon enough.
Shame about Cutrone but clearly he wanted out as much as anything though i do think Nuno didn't help the situation by not giving him more minutes which he deserved in my opinion

I must say that I was amazed that Jota had no assists in the Prem this season
I have posted before, that Jota has the talent to be a huge player, but he must become more clinical in front of goal and set up other players instead of trying to do it all on his own.

Don’t put much weight on these goals and assists per minute. Players get more minutes for a reason, because they are better in the managers eye than those that play fewer minutes. Cutrone rarely impressed for Wolves and if he had done he would have played more.
With regard to the goals per minutes stats Jota played for about 35 minutes against Besiktas and scored three. Does anyone believe that means if he had played 90 minutes he would have scored 8?
No and much as I like him I would play Neto over Jota at the moment
I see Jordao is playing for the U23’s v Liverpool tonight, looked decent before his injury
I love Jota's tenacity and drive but he is being eclipsed a little in the quality department by Neto at the moment. He seems to go through a phase after injury where he tries too hard and things stop coming off for him, then it clicks and he reverts to being one of the best forwards in the league.

We have lots of centre backs but most of them are more comfortable on the left, Boly, Saiss and Kilman. Only really Dendoncker and Bennett for the right. Wouldn’t sell him unless we are getting someone else in

Then Liverpool get 2 in 2 minutes to draw level
Jordao hit the bar with the last kick of the game but it ends 2-2 and we're out of that competition. U23s are becoming draw specialists too it seems.
Looks like Gem's too busy trying to relaunch his yatch to launch a preview.
