Yet another depressing article. I think Spurs still have a lot to play for this season, so will not be getting involved anymore in any of these depressing articles.

Anyone think there will be a blockbuster deal done in the Prem this month ??? Wouldn't be shocked if Chelsea got Zaha and United threw silly money at Leicester for Maddison

Depends if you consider Ashley young going to inter a blockbuster deal

Yeah... it's hard to think of a single aspect of the team which is promising at the moment. Better players are either injured, ageing or want out. Committed players are largely not good enough. Manager won't promote youth even if there were any youth worth promoting.

I doubt he would leave mid-season anyway.
Though i suspect they will go down and i would imagine United would be interested as well.

Ndombele will be an infinitely better player than Grealish ever well. I'd say Lo Celso will too, to be fair.
Trouble is Mourinho simply isn't the manager to develop them. He wouldn't be for Grealish either.

I don't think either has been average, when you consider they're both young and in a new country, and in a team that's been through some ridiculous upheaval with the new manager and off-field issues, not to mention the impact their injuries have had.
Ndombele has shown flashes of insane ability, the likes of which he showed at Lyon, which is several steps above the level I think Grealish can reach. Grealish is decent, don't get me wrong, but I think Ndombele will become an absolute superstar in the right team. Granted, he's clearly not fit enough yet, and that's a legitimate issue he needs to sort. Whether that goes to his attitude, I can't say.
Lo Celso is clearly very talented, but his season has been so badly disrupted thus far. He looked decent under Pochettino but he's not had much chance to impress under Mourinho, and frankly I don't think even a prime Yaya Toure would look good in this current side with how Mourinho wants the midfield to be bypassed.
Based on his prior exploits I think Lo Celso has more talent than Grealish. But it's all moot, really, since no midfielder will flourish in Mourinho's current setup.

Fred - gash.

He paid an absolute fortune for these players too.
What I'm getting at is that I don't rate Mourinho AT ALL. Yes, he had good midfields at Chelsea, Inter and Real... but he left Real over 6 years ago. That's a long time in football. And he left them under a huge cloud over, among other things, the team's style of play. Inter were also a defensive, turgid anti-football side.
To be honest I'd say that the only side he's managed which has played good football through the midfield was his first Chelsea side, and he left Chelsea the first time almost 13 years ago. There's been no sign since that he's a manager who will develop talented, technical midfielders. If anything, as time has progressed he seems to have moved further and further away from that style.
