Who thinks the lad Trump blew up was a terrorist?
------------------
If it wasn't for him and Iran, ISIS would have had control of half of Syria and 75% of Iraq. So, I think ISIS and who ever protecting them like USA, Israel and Saudis are terrorists instead.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

LOL. Soleimani was a vile human being who was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands in the region, assisted the dog Bashar al-Assad in attacking his own civilians in Syria, and he destroyed communities within Iran and Iraq. He also assisted Khameini and Rouhani in treating Iranian civilians like trash, imprisoning, torturing and abusing them if they dared to protest.

I don't agree with the manner of how Trump went about killing him, but I would rather see Soleimani dead than alive.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

So Trump should take out the Saudi leader next, who is also a vile human being, then he can take out Kim, another vile human.

I am no advocate of the American government or their colonialist history. I am fully aware of the atrocities and crimes they have committed. However, what I don't like is this narrative of picking sides. It's not a case of "Choose between US or Iran". They are both terrible for different reasons. They can both be lambasted.

Sandy, I already said I don't agree with how Trump went about killing Soleimani. Even if he was entitled to do it, he shouldn't have. He got the Iraqi government to invite him to the mediation process...then bombs them behind their back (whether the War Powers Act 1973 or his role as commander-in-chief supersedes Congress is debatable).

None of this changes the fact that Soleimani will not be missed. This romanticisation of him as some anti-imperialist hero needs to be stopped. It's inaccurate and legitimises his disgusting behaviour.

Add to that list Sandy, the evil Chinese who incarcerates Muslims or “we never did it” the Russians.

So what? Is that supposed to make me change my mind about him? And even if that was true, why does that excuse the hundreds of thousands of people who have had their lives ruined because of him?

I'd even say he helped create the conditions in which ISIS were allowed to flourish.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
WTF are you babbling on about? How many lives have those war pigs in America destroyed? How many people have they killed? They remain the only country in the world to have ever dropped a nuclear bomb ffs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh so if America do it it’s ok for everyone else to?

It’s good that Soleimani is dead, but America, the self proclaimed world police clearly defied their own international laws in the process of killing him. They are the most corrupt country out there, certainly in the west anyway. I really hope that smug arrogant bully Trump gets him comeuppance

Agree, he was fighting a direct war with the US and also via proxy. He was fair game. Indirectly led to the deaths of Americans and allies.

Who’s doing that? Most people hadn’t even heard of him a few days ago.

Have you not seen all these journalists and people in the media acting like Soleimani was a martyr? The last part of my comment wasn't specifically aimed at people on JA606, it was more a general observation. Although there are people on here who seem to ignore the role Soleimani has played in this entire mess.

No, I really haven’t seen that. Most people are saying that they won’t be shedding a tear but are questioning America’s stategy or lack there of, which seems perfectly reasonable.

Satellite imagery won't tell you where and when targets are going to be.

haha..and how are the US expecting to get hold of this 56 billion barrels.

US are self sufficient in oil and now a top major exporter.. Its clear they are still only present there now through the faacking mess they have created and also not wanting the Russians and the Chinese to gain an upper hand in the ME.
ME is now a melting pot and going to be a rocky few years imo with many parties looking to gain an upper hand
