UK tourism spend in Spain is circa £16bn and those numbers were from 2016. They've risen since then.
Add in expat contributions and fishing and I'd say that yes, Spain does depend upon UK money. Significantly so.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with asking someone if they have black friends. As mentioned earlier I work outside the UK and in other scenarios I'm asking someone if they know any white people.
I'm equally white and black. One of my parents came to this country from Africa. I have white relatives and black relatives. Some as white as you can have and other as black as you can have. At this moment I've got family in the UK, USA, Jamaica, Canada, Switzerland, Australia, Kenya and South Africa, perhaps I've missed out a few even.
One thing I can say for sure is if sometimes I'm in a white crowd, I end up finding myself having to defend things to do with black people. If its a black crowd I find myself having to defend white folk and their way of thinking.
Not all the time but when the topic comes up it can be tricky and frustrating because both are "my people" so to speak. Some of my friends and relatives on both sides have some racist or repugnant ideas or notions in their heads too and its always worse when they happen to have minimal interaction with members of other races. I think there's studies that prove this.
Some tend to blame white people for a crazy number of problems, and others blame black/other ethnicities for other problems and the cycle continues over and over till you get dizzy.
This is just my experience, not saying anyone on here is racist or not racist because they have/don't have friends of another race.
Also, having worked in my job with NGOs for the last 9 years I find myself agreeing with the globalist concept, simply defined as relating to or advocating the operation or planning of economic and foreign policy on a global basis. Obviously Brexit does not sit very well with this concept but democracy is democracy

We are often too precious or loaded when discussing race, so when someone asks if you hsve black friends, it can be a minefield....was what I was saying earlier, before I knew where you were coming from.
As Cal was from a mainly white background/ town, like myself, I thought it was " loaded" or a trick question, but that is obviously my paranoia at play too.
It must be awkward and enlightening being in your situation mamba, seeing people at their worst and best.
Glad you touched on some perceived crimes of the white race, as viewed from black eyes, and the same with white eyes stereotyping black people, as it's often only eat way racial profiling today.
Whites are guilty and privileged, so take it from there and no rational debate.
Britain is racist and we are all thick leavers, is not a useful starting point.
