Hoping we come straight out of the traps and replicate that start against Arsenal. Sheff Wed should be under the cosh nice and early, just need to be clinical and take our chances. 2-0 win

Kinda dreading this one .. can just see the Wendies all fired up for a Yorkshire derby, dragging the match down to near punch-up level and scrambling home an ugly goal from a corner to put one over on us ' flash Harrys ' with our fancy la-di-da passing game

Let's home I'm wrong as wrong can be and we stuff 'em

Stupidly optimistic about this game. Mainly due to having cousins who are Wednesday fans and I can't wait to bad mouth them.

Just think that Arsenal game has either lit our fuse for tomorrow or dampened it. Brentford play early and could put early pressure on or is it too early for that?

Shaun, agree about the arsenal game.. been wondering the same.

I’m going the usual.. Leeds 2 - 0... Christiano brace 👍

Gertie the psychic goldfish has blown more bubbles than a West Ham fan with irritable bowel syndrome. She reminds us that we were firm favourites against Cardiff but we were up against a bogey team with a bogey manager. Likewise with the Owls, who play in a similar vein. They will be fired up following their cup win at Brighton, they have Reach and Rhodes to test our defence, and of course, their manager, who has not lost to us since his departure.
If we are still basking in our glorious failure at the Emirates, we could be caught out for this one, and January is a month when we often get caught out. Gertie believes we are in for a tense 1-1 draw, with Bamford rescuing a point. She has now retired to a quiet corner of her bowl to drool over her Jared Bowen videos.

Thought she'd have been more of a fan of Steve Guppy

You're all deluuuuuuuuded

I foresee a 2-1 win for the Owls.

However, whatever the result ---->

I think the Arsenal game will have instilled confidence in the team, despite the result.
A fantastic showing against a 'big 6' team - really hope they carry that confidence through into this game.
Agree - the Wendies will look to take our players' legs away at every opportunity. Sadly, that does work so hope we get a good ref.

Taking the players' legs rather than the ball - because we're too good for them.

Isn't that what Xhaka and Lacazette did on Monday?Cheating batardos...

Still harbouring thoughts of old Peter Haddock....

I'm not sure dominating a game, overall, and losing 1-0 is something we'd be getting complacent about. I'm sure Bielsa would have been on their case about missed opportunities the lack of possession in the second half.

I expect us to come out and prove a point or two, particularly as its Garry Monk in the opponent's dugout.

There's no doubt he's a good coach but there's clearly an unattractive aspect to him too. The Wendies getting a points deduction would be just desserts for both.

3-1 Leeds United. Bamford and Harrison with, perhaps, another Ayling missile to see the Mighty Whites home.

The Baggies to drop a couple or more points would make this weekend very special......

If our finishing can match our approach play,we should win comfortably.I’ll say 3-1 Leeds.

Wednesday lost 9 league games this season, but not one by more than 1 goal. Let's be the first to smash them.

I’m going 2-0. Harrison and Bamford.

Might actually miss this game. Wife’s arranged for us to go out

Brentford 1-0 up. We just need to keep winning.
