Dreadful tactics and team selection as usual from Jose. Only looked decent when he finally got GLC and Lamela on.

4 points from 5 games now. Lose next week and Jose will be under serious pressure.

Agree with that , he’s the wrong mgr for spurs . It will all unravel very soon . Shame as I like spurs

If you were to say did it look today as though Atkinson was aware that he'd recently received a lot of criticism for seeming to be anti-Liverpool then I would say yes. Were Liverpool the better side - unquestionably, but I thought Spurs defence was pretty good.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I didn`t think Liverpool were the better side. Yes they had lots of the ball, but did very little with it. Spurs tried to at least play football, and were by a countrymile the better side second half.

And what sort of a team was he supposed to put on the pitch, with half the first team injured. Spurs played very well today, so why have a go at the manager.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Start GLC and Lamela and not play facking Eriksen and Rose.

Don't spend the first 60 mins of the match petrified of the opposition.

We have been so pathetic since Burnley that was actually one of the better performances.

I thought Spurs played very well for the whole 90 minutes. OK Liverpool had a lot of the ball, but other than a couple of chances first half, never troubled the Spurs back four, Rose apart. Spurs had more than enough chances all game to have the game comfortably.

I thought in the end it was a fairly even game, Pool dominated most of the first half and Spurs dominated most of the second half, a draw would have been a fair result.

The difference being the finishing and certain moments of good fortune at vital times.

It is remarkable how many games Pool win by the odd goal while enjoying key moments of good fortune along the way.

Of course, the Pool biased media like to deflect away from the bias they enjoy and tell us all they are just grinding out results when they are playing below their best.

These fine margins make big differences in PL football.

Pretty sure that if Spurs could have put out a full strength team with Kane leading the line, they would have won today. Liverpool have had some unbelievable luck when they play Spurs, today they played against Spurs, who had half their best team missing.

Sandy, you need to face facts.
Tottenham have a total of 30 points so far this season.
This puts them 31 points off the top, having played a game more than the leaders.

That's not down to luck.

Shame the lino was blind and VAR is corrupt.

Even Jose hinted at it in his interview.

Wow, must be true then.

What luck? You were lucky we were so sloppy at the back today to gift so many golden chances. And that we hit the post. I thought you were gonna win 3-1 regardless?

We can’t play exhibition football every week, we can win every week though. Just mixing it up lad, you’ll see the fireworks against United next week.

Thought Spurs were unlucky not to get a point from this game.
Had two decent chances in first 10 mins., and several more in last 15 mins, including the golden miss by Lo Celso and an over-the-bar by Son. And several shots right at the GK.
Well, that's football!
But if the team plays this well against RBLeipzig, I fancy our chances.

Very decent assessment Ted. You are at least not one of the knee jerk moaning Minnie's on the board. You notice a decent performance when you see one.

Liverpool were very lucky yesterday they came up against a Spurs side seriously depleted by injuries, whilst they were at full strength. Even so over the 90 minutes Spurs still shaded it.

Shaded what exactly? Liverpool had (much) more possession, more shots on target, more time spent in the opponents half, more passes, higher pass accuracy etc.
Spurs did have one more corner though, so there's that I suppose. What criteria are you using ?

Spurs did ok in the circumstances, and with some luck could have got something from that game. Unfortunately seems like no one has any luck when they play Liverpool!

These scousers are trully despicable!

No grace in winning or losing. Can't even admit that Robertson should be red carded, whether because of his stud first challenge or even for leaving his foot on Toby.

What's the difference between this tackle and Aubameyang's one? Both going for the ball and both missing he ball, but getting the player's foot?

Why Auba was red carded and a Liverpool player gets away with it and not even discussed in the media?

Very suspicious and has ruined the season. Worst season ever in the history of football because of how VAR is implemented.

I thought it was a pretty even game, to be honest. Liverpool do seem to get the run of the green though, Robertson should have seen red.

There are no surprises that the first season of VAR is resulting in Pool being undefeated, it gives them 2 chances to favour their darlings rather than one.

If the on field referee does not give Pool the benefit of doubt, the off field one will.
