Ultimately, it isn’t something to care about. You don’t support your club because of what others think about you (well, you shouldn’t at least!), nor does a club doing well or badly really reflect on you in any way. Just enjoy watching your team, particularly at tikes like now when they are superb.

Having watched them since the late 70s then I have been lucky to see over a decade of great football and then past 20 years have been pretty inconsistent,hoping we are set for another decade of success. I agree with that , the point of my article ( and its the first like this that I have posted ) is to challenge why so many other articles are criticising a team who have only dropped 2 pts all season

It’s because a lot of those posters have had to eat their words over the course of the season.
We’ve always been told that we will never win the Prem. Yet here we are in great position - Again.
When VAR came around, we were told that we would drop tons of points. And look at what happened.
Posters will never be able to dangle the “you haven’t won for 30 years” anymore.
Posters won’t be able to criticize Klopp for lack of trophies - and look how much we have won!
Basically, they’re losing their heads and sleep over us dominating the league.

But the slight difference between Liverpool and City, was that when City were p155ing the league, it was lauded as the achievement of a great team.
It seems now, in an attempt to explain why the current European Champions, and Premier league champions elect are doing so well, some people seem to be suggesting that domestic football, and European football generally, is in a strange transitional period, where everyone is basically 5hite. 😂

Some crackpots have always struggled when Liverpool were successful.
We won European cups when it was easy, beat a part time team from Ireland, some team from Bulgaria, and they give you the European Cup.
Same with our managers.

I'm afraid some loons would never have the capacity to recognise our achievements for what they actually are, and for some, not all, this season will be no different. 🙂

Im not sure if you’re talking about just on here or in general, but we weren’t that lauded the first season we we won it, everyone said we weren’t great until we won it again!
No one has ever dominated the league to the extent we did and you are doing. There’s been plenty of teams that have been better than the rest of the league when they won it and they didn’t manage to do it south the consistency and points haul that we’ve both achieved recently. That isn’t down to anything else but what both coaches have instilled in their teams, and it’s why they’re both all time greats.

Ultimately, it isn’t something to care about. You don’t support your club because of what others think about you (well, you shouldn’t at least!), nor does a club doing well or badly really reflect on you in any way. Just enjoy watching your team, particularly at tikes like now when they are superb.

But the slight difference between Liverpool and City, was that when City were p155ing the league, it was lauded as the achievement of a great team.
It seems now, in an attempt to explain why the current European Champions, and Premier league champions elect are doing so well, some people seem to be suggesting that domestic football, and European football generally, is in a strange transitional period, where everyone is basically 5hite. 😂

I remember the last time we won it (was 15 at the time)
I still can’t get too confident until it’s a certainty but I will enjoy it if and when it happens. I won’t be a cant or anything but after 30 years it will feel sweet

Some crackpots have always struggled when Liverpool were successful.
We won European cups when it was easy, beat a part time team from Ireland, some team from Bulgaria, and they give you the European Cup.
Same with our managers.
Bob was only successful because of Bill, Joe was only successful because of Bob, Kenny was only successful because of Bob and Joe.
I'm afraid some loons would never have the capacity to recognise our achievements for what they actually are, and for some, not all, this season will be no different. 🙂

Im not sure if you’re talking about just on here or in general, but we weren’t that lauded the first season we we won it, everyone said we weren’t great until we won it again!
No one has ever dominated the league to the extent we did and you are doing. There’s been plenty of teams that have been better than the rest of the league when they won it and they didn’t manage to do it south the consistency and points haul that we’ve both achieved recently. That isn’t down to anything else but what both coaches have instilled in their teams, and it’s why they’re both all time greats.
