Well said, completely agree..... but think most fans are over it. Some chanting near the end of the game on Saturday, certainly wasn’t a dominant thing like it has been on his previous visits

Called it as I see it re Monk.

Only thing I would say is that there is still a shadow over him regarding transfers at various clubs.

He had the temerity to leave of his own choice, fans never like that.

The fact that the Chairman offered him a one year deal under a DOF gets over looked.

He did a good job and doesn’t deserve the flak... though he does have a surly disposition that’s not easy to warm to... that probably doesn’t help... and an annoying ability to take points off us ... so that doesn’t help either

Ayling, Jansen, Bartley, Berardi. He gave us the first decent defence of our time in the Championship. History will be kinder to him than some of our posters. Good to see he is getting some acknowledgement on this thread.

Couldn’t care less about Monk but the more time goes on the more I think he’s a bit of a nob.........his pettiness with Clotet made him look pathetic

He did well for us. Imo, our revival in this league started under him. Fans are just idiots. I will concede that I think he's shown his true colours this past season or two, but that doesn't mean I hate him.

Glad it isn't just me. I agree he isn't the warmest of guys and the other comment is on the mark about his Clotet argument.

But people act like he was bad to us. If my boss turned around to me and completely altered the structure I liked and had delivered to...I would probably want out.

Wasn’t someone on here for him to be given a 10 year contract and once he left he said was poor manager.

Monk did a very good for us but he’s not a likeable bloke, something sneaky about th guy.

But I never had any hard feelings about him.

Anyone who did is very petty and probably do the same about ex girlfriends

He's not an attractive character with many flaws as the likes of Middlesbrough and Birmingham City might testify.

I'm grateful for what he did at Leeds United but he chose to leave the club in what was a premeditated act.

I'm sure he'll be off should Sheffield Wednesday be sanctioned.......

Garry Monk brought the crowds back to Elland Road, people forget that. We started competing again at the right end of the table and Elland Road was bouncing and full every week. That summer was when we got all the new season ticket holders - most before he had resigned.

A lot of time for Monk... thought he did well for us to be honest

He did ok and sured up the defense , but the 7th place finish still rankles.

But as for being 'Mr Grumpy' - made Donn look like 'Mr Happy and the laughing policeman rolled into one'.

Garry Monk was way better than most of his predecessors but finished badly, left under a cloud and has had a very bad time since then.

monk to me was the best for us in a long string of useless managers.
shored up the defense but didn't have us playing the sort of football i want to watch.
never think about him until he beats us.
