People wondering why we’ve not hit much money need to be looking at AR and our hugely ingnattd costs and wage bill.

They should also be questions how much rent club is going to be paying AR for Elland Road.

The man is milking us, just like every other owner we’ve had.

In other words the budget is the remnant of the nketiah fee which fits. It’s essentially going to be a 3 1/2 month loan, so may got more player than people are thinking... hence why Adams etc were on the target list

Really disagree with the milking us Jonty... really don't think you're being fair at all.. this is why Sol thinks you've got an axe to grind, and did a whole article on why you haven't.

One defeat, albeit a disappointing one, & suddenly the knives are out & the owners now in the same bracket as others before.

“Milking us” how exactly?

This whole rent business is a strange one to understand, Elland Road was bought by someone that had nothing to do with Leeds United, he got his money back and made a bit to!..

The bit I find strange is we know we have to pay rent under the new owner, but, the new owner has a lot to do with the club, they own the ground but why would they over charge the club for a property that belongs to the same person!..

Surely all that means is he's billing himself and paying himself back what he gave out to get the ground back into the clubs rightful place!..

The best part is, nobody knows what the rent will be, but I cant see it being anywhere as near as it was, which means the club would be saving a little the way things are!..

I'd think anyone looking at the club at the same time as AR was would have thought the same, why should I buy a club without a ground?..

AR took that chance and anyone that thinks things are no better now then that's the old opinion thing, personally I'd much rather the club the way it is now than a couple of days before he took over!..

And if anything comes of these rumours that are flying around, I think people would be happier doing business with someone knowing that the club and ground are in the same hands making it easier than searching someone else's back yard to find where your stadiums hiding!..

Wonder if Troy Parott if on the list, he would be available with our budget. Heard good things about him from some mates who are Spurs fans but don’t know IF he would fit into our system.

Why would the rent be nothing like what it was?

There was a rent holiday I would expect it to restart the same if not a little more. If it was less I would expect the club to shout about it.

There is no reason why something belonging to AR should over charge something belonging to AR!..

Thing is, his buying arm has to get the money back what it paid, there is why the rent has to be paid!..

Nothing saying the club will pay over the odds and until the rent is fixed its a waste of time saying AR is going to rip himself a new one!..

His companies his money, but I don't think he's going to bust one to feed the other, even though he used one to help the other out!..

I think when/if he sells on anything he may want to earn on it will be in with the selling price, that'll be where he gets his money back!..

The rent will likely be structured for best advantage with respect to income taxes and possibly VAT (if VAT is payable on rents in the UK, is it?).

The rent rent charged to profit and loss for year end 2018 was £1,520,037. It's in the accounts.

Selling Roofe was a huge mistake and couldn’t be replaced for the money we got for him, which is saying something.

Bowen not even 5th best player in the league, not fit to lace pablo’s boots (when he’s fit)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And he's scored 17 goals this season in a team that is going nowhere. Are we talking about the same player, Wetherby? Bowen = promotion.

Yeah we all want these kind of deals, but know full well we never get the top players, we get unwanted players or loans for players down the pecking order.

Hull won’t sell him for less than £15-£20m upfront. Something we all know we can’t do. We couldn’t even buy Daniel James for a knock off price last year and ended up pi$$ing about trying to loan him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why is 3 times what our top scorer Roofe went for?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because he has scored more goals in the first half of the season than Roofe scored all last season.

Three things for sure, if we get Bowen:
1) He will be playing from day one
2) He won't be warming the bench
3) He will score goals
Bowen = promotion

No, it's detailed as a related party transaction. It's still a bit cheaper than what we were paying.

Total operating lease costs were ~£2.2m including TA.

Right, at that amount sounds like its the straight-lining/amortization of the rent on ER for the free rent period.

I hope that assauges Jonty's fears regarding the extortionate rent he expected Rad to charge the club.

Yeah, over the period of the lease it works out roughly what Radz paid for it.
