I'll just throw a grenade into the debate - didn't we have Saiz until December '18 ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep and we never replaced him.

This season we've used a lot players and scored more points, thus far. No sign of fatigue yet either and we're mid Jan with the xmas period and cup games behind us.

Mate, Klich looks as though he's going to drop dead, KP over the last few games has looked as though he needs a rest too I think?

We came through a patch of 10 games (same as everyone else) what they call the dreaded xmas period and we were top of the form table.

No Phillips hasn't looked like he needs a rest. Theyn will have had a week after sheff weds. Is that enough for you?

No milky

Am talking about the high press on phillips and our keeper.

Makes phillips look like a pub player and more and more teams doing it.

Preston did us, arsenal second half did it, sheff wed second half did.

Don’t get where this other teams setting back has come from
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm referring to all the comments for example, when we lost to wigan last year about how fast wingers running the channels on the break was this amazing new strategy... but yeh it's a fair point that a few more teams are trying to do to us what we do to them (without the ball at least).

That wasn't the issue last year... our chance conversion rate fell off a cliff and and suicide defending became the norm. Why?

Individual errors cost us in the Derby game, teams found us out though, no doubt. Especially mobile long ball teams like Wigan. We got done that day and all our own fault.

Milky, completely agree... for me, I train for 8 weeks, with 1 or two rest days in between, then have the 9th as a full rest.. not only does that provide me the physical recovery, but mentally, it does me the world of good knowing I have that week where I don't have to cart around changes of cloths, don't have to prep so much in terms of food / meals.. also, what I find it that when I get to week 6 or 7 and I'm tiring in terms of performance, it gives me the added motivation to keep going as I know the rest period is just around the corner.

Usually about half way through the rest week I'm looking forward to getting back to it.... by the time I'm back to week 1 of training, I feel fresher, re-motivated, and I can categorically hand on heart say my performance is right back up there... this is my whole point ref the Leeds players..
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You see highly tuned athletes like ourselves would understand this... the beer and pie club just don't get it.

for the record, I'm a fat fck at the moment... but i have vague memories of what it was like to be fit!

--------------------

Milky, simply look at it as an extended recovery period
----------------------------------------------------------------------

yeh... i'm taking the buster douglas school of recovery periods... Hamburgers for a year

if it had only been the derby game, we wouldn't have been in the play-offs.

personally, after the QPR game, I think we have 10 days until the next game.. if I was Beilsa, I wouldn't have them training for a few days to rest up...

I do think KP looks a little jaded, and klich looks dead on his feet to me.. I'd imagine they;d be in training this week after the sheff wed game, so no, I don't think that is enough for me.. but, as stated, we do have a little time frame after the QPR game to rest up..

lets hope we use it well

no need to get rattled pal, we all have different views mate

Form is irrelevant as unlike everybody else in the league,
we can't rest or drop out of form players. Bamford will have to play the 90 against QPR no matter how tired he is or how many shots he misses.

if he scores his hat trick by halftime i'm sure we can stick berardi up front for the second half.

Shaun, what weight are you ?

Do you have weight categories in kickboxing or is it ‘belt levels?’ .. as I’ve said it wasn’t for me, prob too set in my ways as a boxer.. couldn’t get my balance right using kicks etc, ty boxing the same.. all knees and elbows.. enjoyed the sessions though, had a cameo instructor come down to the gym once!

Top of the form?

We have only won 1 in our last 6 games - Brentford are currently the in form club.

As for money side of things, our revenue streams are the best in this league by long way yet we have very little to spend in the next 2 weeks?

AR is an improvement on the previous motley crew in recent years but I still don't think his ownership or handling of the club gets anything more than average.

And one could advocate he looks better because the previous were so bad.

For me personally, MB is the centre of all real progression at the club and even he can't do much more than he has with the present crop.

You play one way and one way only, teams will find a way to neutralise you.

Teams like Man City and Liverpool can get away with because the players are miles better than everyone else’s.

Our players aren’t, it the manager which carries the team
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree on being found out early, no plan B. However, if results aren't going our way then the manager isn't carrying us. Manager needs to look at alternate systems.
