At least he's not going to Bristol!

If he stays at Arsenal and doesn't play, then his going back makes no sense at all.

then his going back makes no sense at all.

^^^^^

I would argue his coming here makes no sense at all.

Short term Auba is out for 3 games, but there are rumours Laca could be sold this month. You've given him experience of being an impact sub, so hopefully he can do it for us

I hope he does well, wish he’d stayed but c’est la vie.

D'Jeezus, an impact sub who played on average the last 10 minutes of several games. Literally a waste of his time.

You're welcome!

Was Eddie mostly injured during his time at Leeds? shame if that was the case. I am hoping he can make it at Arsenal and maybe have a similar impact to what Tammy Abraham has had at Chelsea!

No he was out for 3/4 weeks, Bielsa doesn’t like to change a starting line up, but was about to as bamford stopped scoring then Eddie was injured.

He’s quick, he’s strong, his positions in box is good gets up well fir headers, he’s a good player.

Eddie Strong? - I've never seen such a light weight in my life..

Yeah. He's lightweight with a bad first touch. Very limited player for me. Certainly didn't suit our system.

He's quick and good in the six yard box though.

I'm not sure he is as good as most people think he is but he will have a decent career.

Certainly not good enough to play up top on his own but he will score goals in the right team

Sounds like the comments Phillips used to get. Eddie is class.

-----------

I'm not saying he's not a good player.. but the furthest away from 'strong', you can get

Not sure some folk understand what strength is, but never mind.

tell us then? - what is 'strength' ?

Eddie would have been great 20 years ago.

Not enough teams play 442 and think he’ll find it hard to get a first team place long term in the premier

agree... I always think 'strength' fo4r a forward is being able to hold a man off?.. can go shoulder to shoulder and come out on top?

Eddie can't do either... I'm interested to know what Jonty thinks 'strength' is?

Alan Smith, similar build, but strong, right?

433 like Liverpool would suit him.

------------------

what is 'strength' to you Cal? when talking forwards? - what's your opinion mate?

posted on 16/1/20

Don’t think he’d suit 433, don’t think he could go wide.
