----------------------------------------------------------------------OK. I think Wolves are a great team to watch too. Is that OK?

----------------------------------------------------------------------Apologies realising second best has more resonance for fans of your team

Can he play up front?

I think you’ll win easily tbh, 2-0.

Imagine if it's even a score draw like 2-2. You can go the whole season unbeaten and win the league but you'll always have it hanging over you that we are a better team than you proven on head to head (away goals)

You could say "we are the best PL team ever"

Then we could say "yeah just slightly worse than us"

Good article OP, despite some nit picking.
Agree with the sentiments.

----------MU52 gets it. He's seen Denis Law play for his team. Him, Greaves, and Fowler are the reason we love our teams. ------------------------------------------------------------

you are still wrong because United are still the best supported team in world football and you are also way behind Ream madrid and barca in terms of global support or stature.

Not sure what you are trying to say.

I think he meant it was a great rivalry between what he considered to be the two best clubs in the world due to their supporters, their rivalry and their accolades.

Of course that's subjective, but then, being a football fan is, in essence, subjective. I don't really see the need for nitpicking either

Nice article by the way op. Looking forward to the game, of not necessarily the result!

I would think that both Real and Barca enjoy much more universal support than we do, until recently. While they each still remain at the top, the gap between us and them must be closing.

We are on a roll.we can’t afford the 19/20 season, with us as the hopeful (yes I’m old, I’ve been waiting three decades for this, three decades in the wilderness. It’s been a vary painful journey, made worse with the Mancs & SAF riding over the horizon, PL after PL winners, time and again.) winners of the PL.

Nothing personal, let’s just quietly and diplomatically spankthebolixs off them on Sunday.

Not a lot to ask for, is it?

Very noble of you.

Yeah, I'm not half as confident as others on here but I never am before big games.

Look, I wouldn't cry if this was a draw, I'd take it and move on.

Considering we are the only team to take points off you this season, anyone Liverpool fan would be foolishly led to believe that Liverpool would steam roller United. Rashford won't be available which will hurt us but United will be up for this one for sure.

Forget Man City, forget Everton this is the fixture for us. This is never an easy game no matter how bad one team is doing in the league.

4-0

Do you think HB Fash and gunnersaurasrex sit in bemusement when they watch a League Two game and the crowd are singing ‘we’re the greatest team, the world has ever seen’?

Not everything said is meant literally, lads.

Two great clubs and a lot of respect being proper fans - not so much on here, with some of the children that get involved.

Plenty of admiration for Liverpool right now and begrudgingly pleased for fans who I know have yearned for this for a long time now - won’t feel like that on Sunday though!

Best two teams in the world? You need to get out more mate

Every super hero needs a great villain. For us our villain is united and we are their villain. I love the controversy, the flying tackles, crying (nani) and in a strange way the fear of defeat even when at times your side is fave to win. Nothing beats it.
