That was a ridiculous display of refereeing.

The foul on Frimpong in the first half should've been a penalty. Not his phantom touch on the Partick player there.

That was pretty poor overall .

Positives?
Good to see Griff looking sharp and Rogic had some good moments

Negatives ?
Julien was awful throughout the game as was Simunovic though he can be excused as hes not played for months
Eddy was poor too hes not been the same since his injury hes taking far too many touches in and around the box.

Aye, as per usual every time we try 4 central mids as a “tactic” ... and as predicted before kick off.

should also add that Frimpong is looking like what he is ie a promising but very naive youngster

Boring sheidt but in fairness, that game would have been better played on a sand dune.

Another cup win so can’t complain.

How easy were we to get at with simple balls player in behind.

Almost everything came down or left flank as Taylor was almost always out of position.

Big problems at the back for us, and it comes from our shape.. Or lack of it.

Alan Muir still as staunch as ever btw

We were alright. Controlled the game for the most part, but playing with a few players who’ve hardly kicked a ball all season and changing the formation was always going to make it a long night. We need to convert more of the chances we make.

Ref was having a laugh with that pen at the end, considering the one he didn’t give to Frimpong in the first half.

Hopefully, we’ve used that game just to blow the cobwebs off.
