Wishing you all the best, Elland. Take care, and keep posting. Like you, I'm feeling a little disillusioned right now, but we know what this team is capable of. Bielsa has done a remarkable job to get us this far with the squad he's got, but have they got the mental strength - and this includes Bielsa - to go one step further than last season? Week after week, we out-perform teams and come out with nothing. The problems are obvious, but the management team are in a holding position right now. Why this is, I do not know. It may be something to do with a potential buyout, or a back-breaking wages bill, or the loss of players who could fire the team up (Roofe, Jansen) or the reluctance of decent players to come to Elland Road. But there are no signs of a change of momentum for the long suffering fans.
You have a battle on two fronts, Elland. Win the first one, and the other can wait.

Wish you well with your health.

Adams I suspect is a player Saints would consider releasing but the manager there wants to keep him. Difficult to know how you force their hand on that one.

Get well soon Elland. I have Crohn's disease so I have to watch my stress levels and with Leeds I find a shot of Jim Beam helps keep me relatively calm although I doubt you can have alcohol with Chemo, but at the end of the day your health takes priority now.

All the Best EW.

Don't get wound up by the football, you've got more important things going on.

All the very best Elland take care. I think today has been a very sobering day for many Leeds fans, Adams would be a good addition let’s hope it can still happen

Although a ‘Baggie’, can I wish you all the best Elland. Enjoy the banter with you guys but when one hears about health issues, it puts it all in perspective.

To everyone,

Thank you for your kind comments and good wishes. 3 sessions into a 12 session programme, 1 every 2 weeks. Fatigue, nausea and thinning hair are the main side-effects, and that's just supporting Leeds It would be nice to have a double celebration come May - my recovery and promotion. Of the two, my recovery is guaranteed, promotion is anything but. Perhaps I'll feel differently later about this club of ours but at the moment it is testing my resilience to the limit. You're all right - I need to focus on my health and step back from the stresses of following LUFC.

Thank you once again.

Elland - puts it all in perspective really. Shows when push comes to shove,, football is a trivial irrelevance compared to real life.

Here's wishing you all the very best and all I can really say is M.O.T.

Well back then it was looking likely that Hassenhutl might get sacked any day, so if he was the block then you can understand out interest. Their upturn in firm has probably fecked us though.

Hope all goes well for you Elland. I’ve quite a few friends who have been where you are but they all made a good recovery in the end. I also hope you have a double celebration come May.

We Leeds fans seem to have been waiting forever to get back to the Premiership. The nightmare has gone on far longer than any “living the dream” did.

I find I can never sleep after Leeds have played - especially if they lost in the fashion they did yesterday. I had a bad night again last night. I get wound up far too much. There always seems to be an injustice against us when we lose - the hand ball yesterday, the wrongful penalty against us and Berardi red-carded, goals chalked off that weren’t offside but were flagged as such - the list goes on. It is the same every season. Last season I think it was the Spygate thing that started the downslide. I think it was the Cardiff game that started this season’s, but not having enough players in the squad is the biggest reason and selling Roofe and Pontus was madness. We haven’t built on last season, we have regressed, and the team is much weaker with no decent players on the bench to change anything.

Maybe the miracle will still happen but at the moment it is looking very unlikely. I think we all felt especially low after yesterday’s performance and result.
I am always away in the Canaries in January and Leeds United manage to ruin my holiday every single year, mainly because it’s the transfer window and the fans’ hopes are never fulfilled and the club never sign anyone to strengthen the team.

Rant over. I intend to enjoy the sun and forget about Leeds for a while.

Elland, sorry to hear your current health problems. Your comments show a positive outlook on that topic and we all wish you the very best. You were a very early sign up for JA606 after the BBC606 departed and have made many contributions on our clubs fortunes.
A great tonic for you would be our promotion this season.
Here's to a great outcome for you and a bonus for you from the club.

Wishing you all the best Elland and stay positive.

More important things than football but hoping you have a double celebration in the not too distant future.
