No. It means that Liverpool, and then United, dominated like Wolves did in the 50's. 👍

Spurs in the 60s? 👍

Though I don’t think Liverpool would dominate at all. Only one season at most. It’s that City have been poorer this season and dropped off. They’ll be back next year, provided Pep stays of course.

There’s talk of a massive spending being made available to Pep to rebuild the side this summer.

too much money around these days for.one team to dominate for long

utd were far more professional than us in the 1990s and it showed all over the park.

then wenger came.in and beat them at that so they just cranked out the cash and beat back arsenal.

then chelsea came along and best utd at the cash game. luckily for utd chelsea then managed to implode

let nobody think otherwise, liverpool did similar in the 70s and 80s. we just plain bought well and stood up when teams like Leeds, forest, villa etc. al appeared.

it's not about domination. it's all about being there consistently and not accepting something like 4th is good enough.

I love my.club but know we are never going to dominate.

if we come out of this period with trophies, a 61k stadium at anfield, a great training ground and happy fans who could complain. great times. no need to look further than that.

Silly comment. We could well win a few titles. I don't think we will dominate the whole decade though, mainly because a rebuild will be needed within the next few years.

So you think City would have 22 wins in their first 22 games if that hadn't 'dropped off' this season?

No team is going to dominate the English Premier League as long as it continues to attract the best sponsorship, players and managers.

The Back to back title won by City May even be the last we see for a while.

These dynasty talk and domination talk is the media building up something so they can take it down. Same thing happened when City won the league by 100 points now the same media is creating stories about Pep leaving in the summer or running away because of Klopp.

They haven’t even won it once and were already talking about a decade of dominance

This is getting laughable now

Klopp hasn’t even over taken Benitez trophy haul yet

Ridiculously premature to talk about them dominating. City have won 2 out of the last 3, or 4 out of the last 9...why not talk about them doing what United did? Seems more likely to be them who'll replicate it with their owners than Liverpool.

Even if Klopp sticks around there's no guarantee he can maintain these high levels over and over. He finished 7th with Dortmund a couple of seasons after winning the title. Too much pressure in the game for one man now, and too much competition from others.

I'm sure they are but they last won it 3 seasons ago and may not even make top 4 this season. If you were to talk about this point onwards I would say City are most likely to dominate.

I think we can get better, tbf 👍

We currently look well placed to potentially win a lot in the next few years but when it comes to the likes of Mane, Salah and Firmino entering their 30s we will need to start thinking about getting their replacements in which we need to get right. We also need to get the next managerial appointment right, assuming Klopp does not extend again. But we definitely can be better than what we are producing right now in terms of performance, a lot of our games this season we have hardly got out of second gear.

We need to get it right with our sponsorship deals, our expansion of the stadium and other off the field stuff to bridge the gap to Barca and Madrid.

I am confident in the future if we do this because our recruitment is very good now.

I honestly think Salah will be off this summer. Prob to Real Madrid. We would therefore def need a replacement. Maybe Sarr from Watford. Looks to have all the tools just needs refinement.
