The old style 'physio' with his magic sponge probably couldnt have done any worse than this lot with all their qualifications.

If the club are to be believed we have state of the art medical facilities at Carrington. How do they not pick up bone fragments on an ankle and a stress fracture on someones back.

Think Ole and your medical staff both have to take the blame here.

The medical team should have said he needs a rest. End of.

Ole, as much as rashford wants to play every game should have taken the decision to rest him and not include him in the squad.

What I don't get is how they found a floating bone in his ankle as well as the fractured back. That has me baffled.

Good luck for the rest of the season

Ole has already held his hand up over playing Rashford against Wolves.

We are just doing our usual collapse. The problem is we haven't a natural goal scorer.

I am absolutely mad for Forest to come up so I kind of hope Leeds and WBA keep faltering. Fulham look decent in the little I have seen too.

You have to ask if they have employed Kenneth Williams and Hattie Jacques.

One for us older folk.

I've been wondering wtf our medical department are doing for a while now.

There have been a number of injuries (Pogba, Shaw, Martial, Matic, Mctominay and now probably Rashford) where they have given an initial timescale of a few weeks only for them to be out for months.

I don't really like criticising things I know nothing about but something has to be wrong there. Either they are consistently getting that initial prognosis wrong (which cant be helpful for the actual treatment) or they are consistently fūcking up the recovery itself.

That's what happens when you trim down the squad to bare bones and not replace them. Ole is partially to blame as he overused half of the players and now they're picking up injuries. Ole also must have known Rashford was injured, which is why he was on the bench against Wolves, just don't pick him, he;s the manager, and his say is final. Of course Rashford's never going to refuse to play. Pogba and McTominay the same. same issue. Its bad squad management.

If the decision was to get rid of the so called deadwood, before doing that there should have been replacements in place, its do it first ask questions later strategy and its come back to bite them in the a$$.

Was listening to Frank Lampards opinion on Oles part in this and he was saying he faces similar issues with players having niggles and desperate to play. He made the point that ole brought him on in the FA cup a competition managers are criticised for not respecting
He added sometimes you are damned if you do or damned if you dont.

Same thing happened with LVG.

I think pretty much everyone on here agreed in the summer that Bungle came up two players short for the manager.

It’s not serious to the point it’s dangerous for his health but it could seriously impact his career if it’s not treated and managed well. He shouldn’t be rushed back and should spend rest of season resting and recovering and strengthening his back when he has healed. He shouldn’t play any games now until next season

Sounds like you know more than the medical team

Probably
..............

I doubt it. Nohlman is going off something he read from a former player who had a similar injury who actually quoted that he didn't know the extent of Rashfords injury and where it was exactly.
