This Griffiths 'threw some tape on the ground' chat is great.

No-one ever has had any issue with a player simply throwing sock tape on the ground.

Makes you wonder if there is slightly more to where Griffiths actually threw it that Celtic fans are conveniently choosing to ignore here....

Listen - he wasn't ever going to hurt anyone with it but throwing anything in the direction of fans is just daft and it should be called out for that.

And since we have had three weeks of faux outrage at Morelos supposedly issuing death threats to the entire Celtic crowd (is anyone really daft enough to think that is what he did?) to then see celtic fans dismiss out of hand a player throwing something (yes even as innocuous as sock tape) towards opposition fans is just a bit of a riddy.

Was one of the only fixtures I had hope of yous dropping points.

No surprise that after Griffiths gesture there’s no faux outrage but instead even Sutton defending him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He threw his tape on the ground.
He's a decent and I'd be more than happy if he wasnt at Celtic but rangers fans have always had this tendency to try to compare things that's aren't comparable.

Henderson and Johnstone....Jardine and McGrain...now Morelos gesturing to Celtic fans with Griff throwing some tape on the ground. Desperate stuff.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Like I said, faux outrage....

What if it had hit his eye, he could have blinded a man. Maybe he even intended too, we'll never know.

I would say ban him but then someone better will play so a suspended sentence will do.

Did they get the loving cup out again?

There's a bunch on Follow Follow who believe that Celtic got the traditional OF match moved from New Year so that our directors wouldn't have to toast the queen

Jusy one of the many bizarre conspiracy theories that have taken root on there.

Those pitches also need to be banned. They are shocking. Griff was through on goal tried to turn and slipped. Happened too quite a few last night.

Hopefully all the clubs that have these get relegated. Fans dont want to watch football play on these surfaces.

Good chance to go 5 clear on Saturday. Hearts unfortunately though are utter dug scheite and will have to go some to even get a point I reckon.

Being rock bottom and desperate for points might wake them up I suppose and its a home game for them but even so don't see it.

We dropped points there last time and they were schite then.

Strangers things Lex...

Hearts stopped our invincible run with a 4-nil win and they took points off Rangers this season already.

Swinecastle might throw up a nice wee surprise.

He went out of his way to throw it deliberately in the direction of opposing fans. I am not saying he tried to hit them. But he threw it towards them - clearly deliberately.

I don't think it is the worst crime ever committed. For me it gets filed under 'Footballer does slightly daft but ultimately inconsequential thing after leaving the park following constant abuse from the opposition fans fans' along with......well you can maybe guess.

But reducing it down to saying 'he threw tape on the ground' is roughly equivalent to saying Alfredo 'touched his neck' as he left the park.

It is deliberately ignoring the critical aspects of an act that certain people (me not being one of them) are determined to be offended by.
