This Griffiths 'threw some tape on the ground' chat is great.

No-one ever has had any issue with a player simply throwing sock tape on the ground.

Makes you wonder if there is slightly more to where Griffiths actually threw it that Celtic fans are conveniently choosing to ignore here....

Listen - he wasn't ever going to hurt anyone with it but throwing anything in the direction of fans is just daft and it should be called out for that.

And since we have had three weeks of faux outrage at Morelos supposedly issuing death threats to the entire Celtic crowd (is anyone really daft enough to think that is what he did?) to then see celtic fans dismiss out of hand a player throwing something (yes even as innocuous as sock tape) towards opposition fans is just a bit of a riddy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He didn't throw it towards opposing fans. He threw it on the ground.
He shouldn't have done it but let's not tell lies about it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm undecided.

He clearly doesnt throw it to the ground, looks like he is specifically throwing it at that one guy.

But who really gives a fook a bit of tape big deal, likewise with morelos, fans sound like wee lassies nowadays man.

What I was getting at Fash is that is 3 bottom half sides, so I will be looking to blow them away and get the GD motoring and the team buzzing before a stiff test awaits at Motherwell.

Just say that then

He throws it into the crowd. It’s a stupid thing to do, but I was waiting to see how long it would be before 2 things happened. When it would be compared to Morelos making his gesture, and when someone would suggest he could have taken an eye out with it. Was quicker than I thought!

The only comparison is that both were stupid. Morelos should look at Griffiths and learn that if he doesn’t change his behaviour, he’ll be viewed in the same vein that Griffiths is.

Thought we played really well last night. The most chances we've created at that ground in a few years. Killie getting a goal back made i nervy for 5-10mins but overall it was comfy and we should have scored another couple. 2 up top works on pitches like that.....game isn't suited for a slow build up and we were alot quicker and got the ball into the box quicker. Ntcham was frustrating with his finishing but thought he was very good in the midfield.

A good win and exactly what was needed to kick us on.

They’re both stupids gestures towards the crowd, exactly the same to me, neither are going to hurt anyone and if you’re offended by either your an absolute joker.

The only punishment for either should be a booking at most.

Exactly.

These incidents amount to two parts of feck all.

But lets not peddle the Griffiths just 'threw his sock tape on the ground' pash.

I agree that if opposition fans give it out they can take a bit of smelly tape thrown in their direction.

If fans can obsessively abuse Morelos then they can take being told the game is over when they are getting beat.

No-one was claiming Morelos was threatening to kill the Midtjylland fans when he did the same gesture after our decisive goal in that game. So to claim his intent behind it has changed for this recent instance just because it is celtic has no real basis.

There is a line I agree players shouldn't cross and that they should be punished for. None of the Kent, Griffiths or Morelos ones comes even close to that IMO.

Even the Morelos red against Motherwell was a joke IMO. I have seen that gesture used in a kids film I took my son to see over christmans ffs....

Its absolutely pathetic

Ntcham's wasn't a booking either btw....fckin hate those instances...Dicker done it a few times last night he plays the ball and our player closes him down and he follows through and kicks our player then writhes about....he done it with Brown beforehand and there was zero contact

Maybe if he’d thrown a bit of tape into the crowd more folk would be apoplectic about ti.

A good few of them did mate Bruce and Power also, Killie were flying into tackles recklessly all night. Couldn;t believe it when the prik booked Ntcham first

Spot on btw re the pen.....the keeper did indeed poleaxe griffiths, don;t care if the ball fell to edouard, it's a pen, he wiped him clean out.

Dicker and Power are just two thugs.

Dicker tried to elbow Edouard in the first half as well.
