It’s going to be a hoot watching Wolves inflict a first league defeat of the season on Liverpool. Congrats to Liverpool on their unbeaten run to this point, it’s been impressive

We gotta lose at some point and Wolves are a decent side. It would be no shame to lose at Wolves.

The stars are all aligned and a pointing to a huge Wolves win!

Actually it could be a draw or defeat too, the stars all just look like dots and are kinda hard to interpret.

...but the tea leaves say 4-1 Wolves

Unless Klopp has signed United's back 4, we wont be shipping 4 goals any time soon.

Similar to the Swiss Cheese model, all holes will need to be aligned for us to get anything out of tonight's game.

Nearly 40 years ago I remember an unexpected 4-1 win against a star studded Liverpool team, with a certain Scouse centre half captain scoring the 4th.

History will repeat itself!

How have BT got the nerve to charge £25 a month to watch their sport channel on Sky and it's a year contract.

Most of their sport is pretty crap, so I'll be paying £300 to watch about 4 Wolves games.

If I lived nearer to Wolverhampton I could get a season ticket.

I refuse to get BT Sport as their coverage is rubbish. Will find a stream for tonight's game. Would love to go, but live too far away from Molineux for the evening games unless I book time off work.

I hope McManaman isn't commentating again, as he is the most miserable commentator I've ever heard. I had to turn the sound off last time he was on.

I last had a season ticket in the late sixties until the early eighties. Moved away, came back when I could,
now can't get a ticket so have to rely on away games.
At my age, I might get a ticket when the stadium is developed, if I last that long.

Completely missed the first fixture but sounds like VAR mugged us big time. Should it have finished a draw then?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Failed to review whether Van Dijk handballed in the build up to Liverpool's goal. Ruled out Neto's goal because Jonny's little toe was offside in a frame by a couple off millimetres (which is the level of analysis IFAB have said the system shouldn't be used for as it isn't accurate enough and you cannot tell the exact point the ball was released).

Basically the same things that fans across the country have been moaning about all season, but Liverpool fans love because they are top and yet to be negatively impacted.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They didn't fail to review anything. They reviewed it and correctly concluded that VVD didnt create a goalscoring opportunity, he created the opportunity for Lallana to create a goalscoring opportunity, if indeed VVD handled the ball, I still haven't seen any replay which confirms this.

If you're offside you're offside, you can't complain you were mugged off when the laws were followed, on both occasions.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

They didn't review it. They specifically said they didn't review it. They only reviewed Lallana. They reviewed Van Dijk's handball at half time, by which point it is too late and they would never reverse the decision. We were definitely mugged off on that occasion.

Whether he was offside is actually inconclusive. The technology can not analyse to the accuracy that they are trying to. Hence why the picture is blurred when they are trying to review, as they are having to merge frames. You are basically hoping you get lucky with the frame they pause it at. I would say that about any goal for any team that is analysed to that level.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nope, they explicitly said they did and gave their reason why it wasn't disallowed.

The laws were followed on both occasions. VAR did its job, we move on.

I think we'll need to batten down the hatches tonight, after the game at Anfield the other week Liverpool will be under no illusion that on our day we can compete with them. They wont take us lightly, but I take some comfort that they won't sit back and stifle us, they will come to play, which will definitely suit us. Any result is possible, really hope its the right one for us.

Im off to the molineux then lads, I'll catch you later!
