I noticed/remember one challenge where he just got up, shook himself down, then carried on. Commentators also praised him for it.

Really refreshing and i'm glad others noticed it and have given the praise it deserves.

I saw the letter on twitter, this for me is the most important thing, the attitude.

A coach I really respect in the States nails it regarding what we're looking for in athletes:

Thanks for sharing the link Shaun.
Yes, very refreshing from a true football fan.
Also, got to give credit to the club that we are able to buy him for 8 million...absolute bargain in today’s crazy world.

I wouldn't have jumped up that quick if we were leading.

However, I have to agree with LIW on this.

As far as I'm concerned players should get more than they take, they're all overpaid toss pots these days!..

Well done Harrison doing things the way they should be done!..

Agree. Harrison is a very likeable player. No ego, just graft and quality/potential

whats wrong with some of you? cringe? i guess you prefer bad sportsmanship and caveman style rivalry.
also good on harrison so nice to see a real man among the sissies like neymar who roll around like they've been shot.

Yes, that what sorts football from other sports

And that’s why we all love it. Take it away and it’s dead.

To write a letter to a player and the post it on social media.

Yes I did fooking cringe

Must admit Vinny literally 'tackling' Gazza is an absolute classic. - Sportsmanship at it's best!

fair play liw. where i live the sport of choice is hockey the fastest and arguable toughest sport in the world.
not the olympic crap the nhl. where fighting is condoned. the fans sit together in the stand and there are seldom fights. some of the rivalries go back 100 years.
maybe because the sport is so violent the fans aren't.

Let's be honest, football is probably the last sport you'd associate with sportsmanship - on the field or in the stands.

I liked their vid, condoning cheating and getting away with it with nakki wells, will make it sweeter when we get promoted.

hockey is not the fastest sport in the world, that's badminton, think fastest shot nearly 500km/h, 400km/h in competition

Fastest I've played is rackets, effectively hitting golf ball with mini squash racket at 180 mph!

Hockey and football aggression levels are back to front. Ice Hockey should be soft and non contact whereas football pitches should be battlefield imo
