This is a very crap article 52
I liked it Greenwood. Sorry to disappoint.
I’m not sure it matters what Ole does with his face the simple fact is he isn’t a top manager but he doesn’t complain a lot and is cheap.
Personally when I’m struggling and look to someone for help it’s that rabbit in the headlamps look that always pulls me through .
I really admire your support of Ole 52 but that last night along with many other performances this year just wasn’t good enough and a lot of people voted with their feet 15 mins to go in agreement
I don't support Ole as such Franko. I have stated many times that i think he showed enough with his buys, his handling of the youth, the fifth position, top of the group in the Europa, still in both cups ( but that won't be the case soon) that he deserved until the end of the season.
He was dealt a bad hand imo, has got rid of some players I wanted to go. I like his signings though we paid too much for Harry and Dan should not have to be a main player every week, but with injuries that's how it is, but he needs a rest imo.
If Ole gets fired, I'm not going to cry, he's rich, will get a few million payoff and get another job, I should be so lucky.
I rate Poch highly and have always said so.
But I don't like seeing someone getting sacked who is doing a decent job, last nights performance notwithstanding.
The thing is if we played some decent football with an identity, not many would be complaining.
Southampton, Sheffield utd play better with a lesser squad. Even Norwich played better with 11 players missing and beat city.
With or without injuries, we have been poor.
There are things outside his control, but he doesn't help himself with decisions inside his control.
When your resting face is 'Cheerful Pixie', it's always going to be a stretch to pull off an effective scowl or snarl to be fair.
His pre and post match press conferences for the Burnley match were awful
Inferior squads can beat superior ones when they are more coherently in their assembly and when they benefit from the stability of tactics, training and recruitment being aligned to a consistent strategy over a period of time.
It’s true. Mind you Poch does hangdog passive aggressive. The masters are Guardiola and Klopp who both to a greater or lesser extent just go fecking nuts when it really goes wrong.
If still true, doesn't Poch have an agreement in place with Levy that if he manages another club before the end of the season/summer then he would lose his £12 million pay off?
Unless United are willing to reimburse him with that.
Or that Poch is only willing to come under a fresh new season?
Right now, it's rather chaotic at this club.
You’d think we’d make more than £12 million getting CL football so might be worth just paying Poch that to make it happen
Only problem is I doubt Poch would make it happen with our squad and injuries.
Would he have to pay it back?
There is also the point of whether Poch is currently interested.
I think any quality manager would struggle with this injury ravaged side. However, in saying that i think at least some of them would instil some footballing identity at the very least.

We have NONE of that.

Excellent post mate, made me giggle and kinda agree?
I can understand people wanting Ole gone, but what’s the fixation with Poch? Surely there’s better out there if the club pulls the trigger on Ole?

He knows how to build a good squad, reached a CL final a few months ago and is available
Reached a CL final is a huge acheivement apparently

And he hadn’t won a game away from home since January. Is reaching a CL final and being available the barometer? Shouldn’t we be aiming higher?

He’s considered one of the best managers in the game. And while the away record was poor last year, it as down to a culmination of things. In 2018 Spurs had the second best away record in Europe behind Bayern
I just listed the surface reasons. But this is a guy who knows how to build a very good side who can compete with anyone. Has a clearly identifiable style of play and gets the best out of his players.
A poor final few months doesn’t really tell the whole story considering very few managers stay as long as 5 years these days
