And Ed did a great job with Fellaini didn’t he? Refused to back the manager and pay Fellaini’s release fee, only to then panic as he had no idea how to buy anyone else and ending up paying more than the release fee.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
LOL yeah I never said he wasnt a moron.
What I am saying is that Mr stats, football man Moyes wanted fellaini. Ffs fellaini was a target for man utd. Let that sink in
And sure ed acted like a cant but ultimately delivered and paid loads and the Glazers sanctioned it. So the whole they won't spend argument is void imo
Ole doesn’t exactly have this amazing managerial CV. Gonna be hard enough for him to get another job without him publicly trashing his current employers
I always suspected that Pogba was an Ed buy, rather than Jose, for commercial reasons. Might be completely wrong though.

Imagine if the Glazers hadn’t bought the club by putting us in hundreds of millions of pounds of debt which they still haven’t paid off and taken over a billion pounds for themselves. People act like before the Glazers took over United were some small club who never made any money. I’m pretty sure had the Glazers not bought us we would still be one of the richest clubs on the planet, I mean we were by far the richest club on the planet when they did takeover us.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And you are still one of the richest clubs on the planet or, should they have spent that billion they took out, on transfers to make it nearly 3 billion on transfers in the last 6 yrs, would that appease everyone
We all know that if we had bought Bruno there would have been a period of transition. Not just football standards but personal life and culture for him. Just like Fred had. Bruno might have come out ok at the end... but who really knows. He certainly wouldn't have turned our season around immediately. You would have to be crackers to think that.

But you’re looking at it far too simply. Yes the Glazers have spent money, but they also chose to put Ed in charge and continue to do so. Even when every season we look a mess and everyone is pointing the finger at Woodward they ignore it because the club make money and that’s all they care about. The Glazers aren’t spending their own money on transfers, every penny comes from the clubs profits, on top of that the Glazers have taken over a billion out of the club without paying off the debt they put the club in.
Why did Ed give Jose a new contract only to then not back him a few months later when Jose wanted Maguire, to then go and pay more for Maguire a year later?
———————
This was strange, especially going into José’s infamous third season.
Either way though, I don’t think he should have said anything good about Ed or the Glazers as it does make him look like a yes man, a lackey. I’m sure he does feel exasperated by the situation. His silence about them could be seen as a protest in itself. By defending them and Ed it really doesn’t help the situation.
********************
I do have to ask, seeing that the Glazers are not going anywhere, what benefit do you think his protest will do. Fergie, Charlton, butt, all our legends have kept shut. Jose and LvG who made a fuss where sacked. The supporters protested and kept quiet.
I come from a country where the peoples voice go unheard, and the way to succeed in this environment is to work the system. Which is why I'm backing Ole. He's Patient. No manager in world is going to be this patient. He's also steadfast in his plans. He's still going to get rid of players who aren't good enough because it's the right thing to do. Stuck with his formation because in the long term it's the right thing to do.
Unless the supporters intend to stage actual riots or go beg some sheik to pony up 4 billion to buy us, we have to start thinking.

4th does not matter, our history, records don't matter, we are in faked up situation which changing managers every 18 months will never solve.

It shows just how bad things are when the nicest thing someone can say about a United manager is that he’s ‘patient’
----------------------------------------------------------------------
In this climate it's the only thing that matters, also unquestioned love for the club. You keep mocking me about OLE but I'll keep saying it, for where we are in terms of ownership and management he his the only one that can offer the most permanently solution.

Osgood
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They could have paid of the debt but thats not in their interest.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The debt again, lets hope you dont get a winding down order soon, if anyone thinks the debt affects united then please come forth, as i said you are still above all teams in the world in terms of wealth bar 2, and again nealry a billion spent on transfers in last six yrs, i dont get what your trying to spin here, the Glazers aint the problem.

I always suspected that Pogba was an Ed buy, rather than Jose, for commercial reasons. Might be completely wrong though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was both. Sanchez too. The thing with Jose is he blows hot and always for readymade players. Pogba was one of the few that was also young. Jose believes in getting world class players first them putting them in his system to make them work.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The excitement by fans was next level on those signings
Now it's a stick to beat the club and likes of Ed
That's my point I guess.

Either way though, I don’t think he should have said anything good about Ed or the Glazers as it does make him look like a yes man, a lackey. I’m sure he does feel exasperated by the situation. His silence about them could be seen as a protest in itself. By defending them and Ed it really doesn’t help the situation.

It’s weird you think that

Would you throw away the guaranteed £5m?

I understand it could well be a money thing and if so fair enough
But some people aren’t as motivated by money as some people and it would just be nice to see a guy (whether it’s him or the next guy etc) come out and say it like it is.
LVG and Jose have already hinted there is something to say about them but they’re not allowed
