Cani for sure.
Maybe AR & MB fancy a lovely day out at the
Wembley Play-Off Final. And signing up no names
still mathematically gives us that shot.
another complicated deal
can't even bid for him unless Monaco end his loan early
Very highly rated, would not imagine he would be dropping to the Championship.
Make your peace with Bamford.
Highly rated and did quite well at Leipzig....it would be a massive punt however

Yeah, if it was a with a view to the future it'd be ok. Not sure he's what we need in the here and now.
Yes, if it's complicated, Leeds will go for it. Especially this late in the January window.
Why do we even waste our breath talking about stuff like this? He's not coming and would we even want to risk signing a player from a foreign league who'd have zero time to bed in to the bear pit of British football.
Next please!
22 yo with PSG, Leipzig and Monaco on his CV. We should be excited about it. Gamble and a half

Good cv that shaun.
Mind you can he do it on a cold tuesday night freezing his balls off at Stoke?
One week to go & rather than pursuing identified targets we're still banging on with Adams. Southampton had 4 months to make their minds up & they're still not sure. My attitude is f**k 'em and MOVE ON. The guy from Leipzig is not a proven goalscorer at Championship level and is not "better than we already have" to quote the owners stance on incoming players. None of the obvious candidates are playing regularly or scoring goals. Gray & even Vydra would fit the bill regarding proven Championship goalscorers. Bowen I don't count as he's another wide player. How many of those do we really need?
Anyone we take has an element of risk due to lack of game time this season. But to look abroad for the solution in my view would be a mistake & a last desperate throw of the dice at the back end of a window the owners said would not be repeated after last season.
Asking a lot for a 22 year old with no English or Championship experience to come to a club who are desperate for promotion and hit the ground running.
Can someone explain the difference between a proven goalscorer & a proven 'championship' goalscorer & why it matters.
Does championship football differ from any other football played
in the world?

Adams, Vydra & Gray have a good scoring record at Championship level but for whatever reason haven't replicated that in the PL. They've all become bench warmers. Lasogga came from Hamburg & whilst he did score goals he blew hot and cold a lot of the time. As I said, with anyone we take there will be an element of risk because these players are not regulars for their club.
A player from abroad has the additional issue of aclimatisation to contend with. Some slot in more quickly, others don't. We're approaching the wire again and still seemingly scratching around.
There's no right or wrong with this, just expressing a personal opinion
I hope to God we get someone in & that he makes a difference but we seem to be put through the wringer every window. It was supposed to be different this time round wasn't it?
'We're not dicking around with the transfer window' - Angus Kinnear.
Lassoga was a good player, just about 2 stone overweight. All transfers are a risk - Barry Douglas on paper was a brilliant signing. Proven championship player, goals, assists. Yet he's been one of the most disappointing signings I can remember, considering the pedigree he came with.
Id rather sign this Jean Claude Kandol lad than nobody mind
The problem is, leave it as late as we do and surely clubs know they've got us over a barrel and that we're so desperate that we'll willingly pay over the odds.
Exactly. We knew Nketiah was going, we knew Roofe was going in the summer, we as a club need to ditch this reactive mentality and replace it with a proactive one, especially if we get promoted.
